Chapter 16
The cinema was only a small walk. We talked about our pasts and made great conversation. I felt so... Complete when I was with him.
We stopped at the line and took our spot as we waited to be served. Popcorn was scented strongly by my nose wich mad my mouth water, despite the fact I had already had a pizza.
The man in front of us was stealing looks at me out of the corner of his eye. I rolled my eyes once he stopped looking at me for the fifth time. "Whats wrong?" Kyle asked, noticing my behaviour. "He keeps glancing at me." I whispered as quiet as I could. Kyle glared at the mans back. The man took another peek and Kyle noticed. "Do you have a problem sir?" Kyle asked the man angrily. He turned around to look at him, his bearded face displaying confusion.
"Are you talking to me?" He asked in disbelief. I watched Kyle as his anger visibly rose. "You keep looking at my girl. Do you have a problem with her?" I flinched at Kyle's tone - and the fact he called me 'his girl'.
The mans eyes rolled and he turned around, ignoring Kyle. He tensed beside me and I put a hand on his arm to calm him down.
"Forget him." I said. Kyle sighed deeply before looking me in the eyes and giving me a sincere smile.
The line moved quickly after that and we were soon looking at the list of movies playing now. "How about this one?" Kyle said, pointing to a horror movie. I grimaced at him, still keeping up the act I didn't like horrors. He smiled cheekily and asked the man for two tickets in the premiere seats. "Fancy." I said jokingly after he got the tickets. He laughed softly and asked if I wanted popcorn. I nodded my head as a yes and waited to one side as he ordered.
We finally made our way to our screen after handing the man our tickets, popcorn firmly in hand. I popped one into my mouth and everything seemed to melt away. This popcorn was amazing! I moaned in delight as I swallowed.
We took our seats at the top and watched the adverts go by. "if you get too scared, just sit on my lap." he joked with a flirty tone. My cheeks blushed, man was he going to be surprised...
The room went dark and the screen widened. It came up with the age rating and blah blah blah. Then came the starting music, a normal sound filled the room like any other movie.

The movie was halfway finished and there was little popcorn left in the bag. I reached to get some but felt Kyle's hand under mine. Electricity pulsed through my hand at the slight touch, making shivers travel down my spine. He looked at me and smiled warmly. This wasn't exactly the most romantic moment in the movie. They were displaying a room full of blood and dead people but... Who cares?
He winked at me and turned back to the movie, as did I. I ate the popcorn in my hand and handed Kyle the bag so he could finish the last few. I rested my head casually on his shoulder and took in his scent. He smelt of pine trees and spring water. Mmmmm...

The movie was finally over. Kyle looked at me disappointedly. "You didn't jump into my lap." he whined mockingly. I slapped his arm jokingly and grabbed my crutches to get up. Kyle helped me up and lead me out, standing closely next to me.
We stood outside the glass doors which lead to the parking lot. It was bombarding itself down with rain. "Looks like I'm gonna get wet..." I mumbled, mostly to myself.
"Hold onto your crutches." Kyle mumbled into my ear. I raised my eyebrow in question as I worked out what he meant. "Just trust me" he said with a wink. I removed my crutches from my arms and held them tightly in both hands together. Before anything made sense, he picked me up bridal style and ran outside. I screamed playfully as the cold rain droplets hit my skin. My hair was wet within seconds.
He ran to the nearest phone booth and shut the door behind us.
We were crammed together into the tight box. Our faces were inches away from each other; I could feel Kyle's breath blowing onto my face; his eyelashes were dotted with tiny rain droplets, highlighting his beautiful brown eyes.
I had this strong urge to kiss him. The urge was almost too strong.
I sighed deeply and looked away slightly from his eyes before I got too lost in them. "You should call a taxi..." I said, regretting my distraction. I wnated to eat him on the spot, but if we wanted to get back home tonight them we need to call a taxi. He sighed and obeyed my request. He pulled his wallet out and placed a pound in the slot. He dialled the taxi company, gave them our next destination and thanked them as he hung up.

The taxi stopped outside my home. The rain still hadn't lightened up but my door was only a few feet away. I thanked the taxi and Kyle paid him for the journey and walked me to my door.
I reached into my pocket and unlocked the front door. Before I could step foot into my house, Kyle gently pulled me towards him and dipped me slightly as he kissed me. I kissed him back hungrily without hesitation. Everything around us seemed to melt away and we ignored the fact we were getting wet. He licked my bottom lip, asking for entrance and I happily allowed it. Our tongues bonded together perfectly, like they were made for each other.
The kiss seemed like it went on forever. And trust me, I wanted it to be. He pulled away and righted me before saying good bye and left.
