It was the day of the days, the moment that belonged to them, only to the two of them. And they didn't have to wait for a long time, and knowing that, they laid next to each other in their bed. Xiumin's arm rested on Jia's shoulders to make her feel safe.
They didn't want time to pass on the one hand, and on the other hand they couldn't wait anymore. They wanted to promise each other a lifetime loyalty, you know, making it official. The whole world should know about their togetherness.
The peaceful silence was interrupted by the havid man that rushed in.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to wake you, if I did, but we need you in the dining room."
Startled Jia looked at her watch, that was showing the time. Silently she sweared as she noticed how the time has gone since they were awoken. Their whole family and friends would already sit down there and wait for them. Also Xiumin was surprised and started to giggle silently and got up to give their wedding planner a thankful hug.
"Thankyou so much, we don't know what we would do without..."
"It's ok, I'm just doing my job. It will be perfect, I'm sure."
Xiumin smiled a bit embarassed because he and Jia were so confused and flustered that they forgot the time. But that was normal before a wedding, they were told by Mr. Byun. So they made their way down to the dining room, where a big surprise awaited them.
A little tear made its way out of Jia's eye, when Jia noticed Bo standing in front of her, right in the middle of all the guests, singing a little song. She knew the song, it, her mum had always sung it for her, and Jia couldn't help herself but start crying touched by the clear and bright voice. He was the angel in this room, this was for sure. His voice was purer than the white of angel's dresses and the sparkles in his eyes affected everyone in a soft and calm way.
Xiumin was also impressed by the little boy, but he was more touched by his crying love and locked her in a caring hug.
Everyone was clapping his hands when Bo had finished the song and he gave the hugging pair a little present.
"Open it after the wedding!"
Jia nodded, still crying, but endlessly happy, and smothered his forehead with kisses. Little Bo was smiling widely and ran back to his mother.
Then Xiumin coughed silently to make everyone listen to his little acknowledgment.
"We are really thankful to have all of you here to celebrate with us and support our decision to spend our life together. We want to thank everyone, and also hope that everyone can enjoy this special day. Thank you, we love you all."
After a big applause they all had a huge meal with three courses. In the meantime Baekhyun and some organized workers were building up the wedding-arch and situated the benches and bunshes of flowers. As the water was very low that day, they were able to build it up on the beach. Baekhyun assigned the tasks and after an hour it was almost ready.
The same time Jia was separated from her betrothed and was brought in a room, where she was styled and dressed for the ceremony. Xiumin's cousin, that was Bos mother, finally helped her to get into her bright wedding dress. It perfectly snuggled around her waist and the long and soft skirt covered her skinny legs, that only her sparkling stilettos were able to be seen. Filled with Joy she turned around and the fluffy silk spined around her legs and her simple but cute hairstyle swung around her neck, and rested on her shoulder. Her eyes twinkled delighted as she saw her reflection in the mirror. Bos mother petted her shoulder softly and grinned happily, infected by Jia's smile.
"I wonder if Xiumin will like it."
"He won't like it. He will absolutely love it, I'm hundred percent sure."
It was all waiting, the decoration was done, the musicians were ready to play a ceremonial song, the wedding guest were sitting on their white benches, the groom bride was awaiting his love on the altar. It was all waiting for the bride to make her way to Xiumin, who was staring agitatedly at the quiet sea in front of him. He wished he could be calm like the little waves on the sea, but his heart was pounding like mad.
Will she say yes?
Then, finally, he felt a small hand grabbing his arm and a person silently placing herself next to him. He shivered by the touch of her cold hand, when she took his hand carefully. Xiumin didn't dare to turn his head to her, in order to examine her beauty. He could already imagine her beautiful hair and the pure white dress, as he smelled the sweet scent she shedded.
When the priest started to preach beautiful words about love, he closed his eyes and inhaled her perfume deeply. How much he would like to look at his bride!
But Xiumin had no chance to look at her. Jia's hand had slipped away from his grasp.
