"Bo!"

Worriedly the pregnant woman bowed over the mattress, where Bo was lying, silently coughing. To calm him down she placed her hand on his sweaty forehead and looked deep into his sorrowful eyes.

I'm here for you.

Jia stopped a tear from falling down at the child, when he started coughing again. He seemed so helpless and weak, so alone.

Flustered she glanced at the nurse beside her, who was listening to his heartbeating with a stethoscope. She just squinted her eyes concentratedly and then disappeared again through the door.

Jia didn't let go of his hand, even if his fingers were slowly getting weaker, and his hand almost slipped away from hers.

Liling was sitting in a corner, sobbing uncontrollably.
Why isn't she here, when her son needs her? Jia also felt like crying and she was extremely tired, she almost couldn't hold her eyelids from falling down, but she stayed.

The door opened and the nurse came in again, while trying to inform Jongdae and Baekhyun next to her what was wrong.

"He isn't in danger of his life at the moment, but his coughing doesn't sound good at all. We fear that he could have caught a serious pneumonia."

Jongdae nodded slowly and touched Jias shoulders carefully to push her to the side, so the nurse could look after Bo. She let go of his tiny hand protesting quietly and burried her face into Jongdae's pullover.

"It's all my fault..."

Confused Jongdae grabbed her chin and made her look up into his eyes.

"I want you to know..."

"I should've..."

"that nothing of this..."

"I-.."

"..is your fault."

She shook her head slowly while biting her lips. She should have taken care of him, and she should have given him warm clothes and a blanket for the night. Now he was here, freezing piteously, and suffering from pain.

Pain in his lungs.
Pain in his heart.

Now even Liling had come to Bo's bed and sat down next to him. Baekhyun smiled at her encouraging and handed her a handkerchief for the upcoming tears in her eyes.

"Mum.."

The quiet phrase that left Bo's lips made everyones heart shatter into pieces. He sounded so desperate and weak, as if someone had taken away all his happiness.

"Don't cry please..."

He raised his little hand out for her face and touched her cheeks, that were wet because of the tears. Pathetically he wiped over her skin and collected the drops on his petite fingers.

The peace he had spreaded inthe room didn't last long, because the nurse beside them tapped Lilings shoulder, to tell her: "We need your help with the new patients! Many of them are in risk of death."

Liling nodded her head and took a deep breath. Seeking for help she looked around in the room and her eyes met with Jias.
