[06.13.2015 - 3 months ago. Seoul, South Korea]

The skyscraper gave out a moan as another sliver of the meteor broke off and bombarded the city. Cries of distress and agony were utterly drowned out by collapsing buildings, with rubble crashing down onto the unfortunate victims below. A set of panicked eyes stole a glimpse out of the fragmented window.

"Damnit, Jiyong, keep your fucking head down!"

But it was impossible to tear your eyes from the scene. A beautiful city once renowned for its architecture, now ablaze and painted with soot and blood. Chunks of dismembered bodies littering the streets, cars overturned and shattered, framework once containing stores stripped and looted for anything of value before quickly vacated.

A sharp tug was felt on the back of his torn shirt. GD whipped around at the sound of his name, becoming level with Youngbae. Youngbae's black eyes quivered with fear.

GD hastily examined his surroundings. They needed to leave, now. The dying flicker of an emergency exit sign caught his eye. They needed to get underground, safe from the crumbling fragments and the inferno. His mind whizzed as he tried to think where in this damn building they could escape to for now.

GD snapped his fingers. "The basement studio! GO!"

He grabbed onto Youngbae's hand, which was still gripping his shirt, and pulled him along roughly towards the Northern stairwell, through the lazy wisps of smoke that were beginning to emanate from behind them. Youngbae quickly followed suit, grabbing Daesung, who was fearfully trailing behind him until all five of the BIGBANG members were hurriedly making their way to the exit. The YG building groaned as another impact of the meteor struck again, although much closer this time. It wasn't going to hold for much longer. They began their rapid descent blindly, their memories of the framework guiding them as the smoke began to fill every crevice of the building. When the group reached the landing, they were greeted by an enormous barricade of shrapnel leftover from an earlier explosion.

Other YG staff and artists had followed the BIGBANG members down to the basement and the stairwell became crowded within seconds as a crowd gathered in front of the rubble left on the northern part of the building.

"This isn't going to work! We need to enter from the other side!" Seungri yelled as he grabbed his oldest member TOP and his manager quickly by the arms, dragging them through the throngs of hysterical people. With the two members on their way outside the building to circle around to the other side, the rest of the people had no choice but to follow.

The powerful vibrations of nearby explosions were felt continuously as the group rushed through the building to the other side. The people of YG Entertainment rushed into the medium-sized basement studio one-by-one, filling every inch of space within as meteorites continued to bombard the city. Once the studio was filled to the brim, GD yelled for the door to be locked and barricaded as quickly as possible. Quickly shoving his way through the terrified crowd, Youngbae began to push equipment and decorative sculptures against the door in a desperate attempt to fortify the room, which had now become their cage, against the onslaught of explosions.

A minute of silence passed, and breaths of exertion were being pushed out of every person in the room. Slowly, one set at a time, the eyes of the people started to turn their attention towards G-Dragon, who had subconsciously stepped onto a small ledge, raising himself above the other people in the room. The question of 'what happens now?' could be seen on everyone's faces as they gripped each other tightly.

The same question lingered in GD's eyes as he looked into the eyes of his members. They could be killed at any moment and he was beginning to panic.

It wasn't until he looked at his lifelong best friend's face, staring back at him calmly, confidently, that he knew what had to happen. Youngbae was silently telling him to take control, that he and only he could handle this situation, and even as he doubted his ability to get everyone out of this impossible situation, he could feel subtle adjustments take hold in his body, could feel himself starting to stand straighter. He had to be strong for these people. He turned his attention to the boy, now a man, whom he'd loved for 9 years, and the decision was settled. Composing himself, GD met everyone's eyes head-on. If they wanted a leader, they would get a leader.
