Chapter 1: This Is A Nice Chair
[09.13.2015 - Present Day. Ruins on the outskirts of what used to be Seoul.]
GD cradled his head in one of his palms as he perched upon his seat, his stony gaze glancing over the prisoners knelt before him. His scouters had recently brought back a rather fascinating tidbit of information; a small unit of about nine members from the enemy 'RM Assembly' had been posted five kilometers away from one of their establishments, hoping to raid the YG supply storage, he guessed. Starve the head by cutting off the inventory tactic or something or other. It was too easy to seize the outpost of nine members, he had thought to himself, as Seungri and Youngbae had left after the group.
Lead by Seungri, his men had surgically infiltrated their camp in the blackness of the night, effortlessly taking out the guards with an assortment of weapons that GD himself had approved a month before.
Now, with the captured enemies kneeling in front of him, one of the more audacious of the boys began to plead in Chinese, but not before getting a swift kick to the jaw by one of his IKON guards. GD grimaced, disgusted by the sound, as he watched the boys struggle not to cry. With great effort, he lifted his head and gazed at his hand, taking in the worn leather shielded with spikes.
GD idly began chipping off the dried blood flakes, contemplating his next move, when he heard a commotion down the hall. Seungri marched in confidently, followed by his usual group of warriors. Most notable in Seungri's followers was the powerful Song Mino, the expert assassin with whom Seungri had been spending all of his time as of late. Mino began to laugh hysterically at something Seungri had whispered as they walked up, and GD could feel his tired numbness fade as it was replaced with a much darker emotion.
"I hope you have good news for me." GD schooled his features as much as he could while Mino continued to attempt to hold in laughter. Seungri gave a mock salute. GD scowled.
"Good news indeed, boss," Seungri replied bitingly. "We were successful in our offensive strike against the guerilla garrison". He shot a look at Mino, who took a step forward to finish the report. He gave a deep bow and proceeded to bore the main points of the arrest to the limited audience. GD was only half listening. He was struggling to keep his attention away from the blond commander, and the way the top two fastenings of his dress shirt were unbuttoned, when he noticed that Seungri hadn't let up in his relentless stare ever since he walked in. A drop of sweat moved slowly down the younger man's temple to his neck, continuing slowly between his pecs, forcing GD to look away quickly, aware of the blush on his cheeks.
GD waved his hand. "Enough," he interrupted. "Take the prisoners down into lockup. I want them withheld from food and water, two days. They are not to have any form of communication with one another. Finish processing them by giving individual interrogations. Any form of resistance, feel free to use your own discretion to force cooperation. Begin immediately". He made a motion for Youngbae to approach.
"You're in charge of the detainees. Report back to me with all findings, no matter how small or insignificant you may find them." Youngbae gave a curt nod before dragging the chains that bound the prisoners together into the bellows of the fort.
As he turned back to address Seungri to commend his fruitful efforts, he was flustered to find a vacant spot where Seungri had just been standing. GD gazed down the hall, the sight of the blond head acting like a beacon in the dingy hallway as he stalked away, Mino trailing like a happy puppy. GD straightened up abruptly. The sight of those two together made his skin crawl.
Seungri's eye was twitching. Mino was an incredibly skilled assassin, but my god was he annoying."So anyways, there I was, ya know. Completely surrounded by these little flits and BAM!" Mino threw his arms up animatedly. "Air spout eruption! It was like the Gods were watching down on me 'cuz that's when I decided to-"
