Just now,
With a great big ka-pow
Did I realize
How many trees have died
To be turned into money
Which flows through this world like honey
So quickly it moves,
It's easily consumed like food
But you must work for it
For you can not just dip
Your hand into the world's bank account
Even for just the smallest amount
So when it's spent on a gift
That will shape and shift
Somebody's world
It becomes more valuable than a pearl
you took time
To spend more than a dime
Going out of your way
To make my day
And so I must covey
How bright you made my last month of may
Of being an 8th grader
With the upmost gratitude,
I want to let you know
And hopefully that this poem had showed
That I appreciate your kindness
Thanks.
