Okay, so this story is glitching a lot and it's pissing me off so much. ARE YOU UPDATED OR NOT CAUSE YPU SAY YOU NOT YA DICK!
Felix's pov
Cry brought me a muffin. A fucking muffin. In the god dammed end of the world he brings me a fucking muffin. I love this dude man. How the fuck did he mandage to get a freaking muffin. Where did he get the ingredients for it? Because I'm sure the majority of the things you'd need would be out of date by now."How are you feeling?" Cry asked.
"Bro. I think I'm in love. Where the fuck did you get these?" I asked, sounding like that of a child. I think blood loss and the fact that I was shot the other day is messing with my brain.
"Red keeps things laying around. She made muffins while you were out so you had a quick source of energy when you wake up. The iceing is full of sugar," Cry said, the smile evident in his voice.
"She is a life saver. It has been so long since I had a muffin. I will saviour this moment forever," I said dramatically before scoffing down the muffin within seconds. Cry began laughing really loud and I chuckled, unable to do more than that without my waist hurting.
"That was a good muffin. Tell Red she's a good baker and bring me more," I said seriously. Cry laughed more before sitting on the end of the bed. He had helped me sit up before I scoffed the muffin so I wouldn't choke so his movements didn't hurt me all too much. Just slight pain.
"I will but no more for now. Maybe later," He said cheerfully. I smiled and leant my head back against the wall.
The pain killers Cry had given me were working but not completely. Every time I moved pain would seer up my side. I would hide it of coarse because I don't want Cry to worry too much.
"Hey, thought I heard your voice. How are you feeling?" Red asked as she walked through the door.
"Okay I guess. Thanks to your amazing muffin baking skillz," I said with a smile. She giggled and walked towards me.
"Glad you liked them. It's not easy finding ingredients for those sort of things these days. But we managed," she said as she gently placed a hand over my head. He smile faultered slightly.
"What?" I asked, a wave of dread washing over me.
"Your temperature is still ice cold. It should have rased a little when you woke up but it didn't. We need to get something warm in you. Cry, can you go make him something hot to drink and bring some extra blankets?" Red said with concern.
"I don't feel-," I began but Red cut me off.
"You wouldn't feel it. Your body is practically numb from the pain right now. And I'm sure Cry has given you pain killers that add to that numbing," Red explained quickly. I nodded slowly and watched as Cry left the room.
"He was really worried about you ya know," Red said suddenly.
"What?" I asked, not quite understanding what she meant.
"Cry, he didn't sleep or eat the whole time you were out. He blamed himself for you getting shot. He cares about you a lot you know," Red said softly.
I was silent. I didn't know how to react. This was the second time someone told me Cry cares for me. I don't know if I should be happy or sad though. I mean, we're just friends... Right?
"I'm afraid," I whispered. I don't know why, I just did.
"Of what?" Red asked confused.
"Of myself. I put others in danger everywhere I go. Marzia died trying to get me to safety. Chey killed herself because she didn't want to get us infected or become infected. Ken had to jump into freezing water to save me from drowning because I let thoughts get to me. And Cry has nearly died several times because I'm clumsy, stupid and can't do anything right. I wouldn't last five minutes on my own. I always have to rely on others to keep me alive. I could at least return one favour though...," I trailed off.
"What do you mean?" Red asked.
"I... I had a dream. The night before I ran off. Me and Cry were outside the border. Near the area I was shot at; except I hadn't been there before so I don't know how I knew about it...," I began. Red watched me closely.
"And?" She urged. I took a deep breath and proceeded.
"We came across some guys in black. But Cry didn't see them. He wasn't looking at them and... he got shot. I only just managed to deal with the attackers but when I turned to Cry he... he was dead. The same thing nearly happened, but in real life. I couldn't watch that happen again... So I pushed him out of the way." Red watched me intrigued.
"You saved him," Red said quietly.
"I had to. I didn't want anyone else getting hurt," I said, my voice distant.
"But you nearly died," Red pointed out.
"Others have died trying to save me. At least I'm still breathing," I said softly.
Cry walked back into the room just as I finished with a bundle of blankets tucked under his arm and a hot chocolate in his hand. He looked back and forth between us but Red dismissed his curiousity with a wave of her hand. She got up and took the blankets from him, placing them next to the bed.
"Now Felix. When you finish your hot chocolate you're going to lie down and rest, you got me?" Red said sternly. I nodded silently with a small smile. "Good." With that, she covered me with the extra blankets and gave me the hot chocolate. I took a sip of the hot liquid but the more I drank the tirder I bacame. What was in this?
"I feel... dizzy," I said as I tried to stay awake.
"Good. Now sleep," Red said. Oh that bitch.
Haha, she drugged him XD
