Felix's pov
Everything became a blur as screams erupted all around me and I was dragged backwards. I tried to struggle against the strong arms around me but I couldn't escape. I was dragged behind a counter and pulled to the ground.

"Felix, calm down," Danny's voice came. I looked up to see him standing over me. He was the one that had dragged me away. Tears stained his shattered face as he peered over the bench with sad eyes.

I cautiously looked over to see Arin's bleeding body on the ground being eaten by a turned Ross. I heard Danny and Arin were a couple and Dan was probably devastated he'd lost Arin. Even though Arin was an ass he probably used to be a good man.

"I'm so sorry Danny," I whispered as I ducked back down again.

"Don't be. Arin wasn't who he used to be. I should have seen that earlier and stopped him. I could have prevented so much pain," Danny said sadly.

"Wait, where's Cry," I said realising he wasn't with us. I jumped up and ran into the chaos of it all. Dan called out to me from behind but I kept running. I needed to find Cry. I needed to know he was safe.

"CRY!" I screamed, searching through the crowd of frantic people. Humans and zombies were running around everywhere. Cries and shouts mixed with the gargleing of the dead. How did so many zombies get inside.

"Shit. The doors must have given way. We need to get rid of all the dead," I heard a guard, Matt, yell. Did they keep them in a room? Why not just kill them and remove the threat?

"FELIX!" Cry's voice called out. I searched for where the voice was coming from and saw Cry's face on the other side of the room. Arin had taken his mask away from him and put it somewhere so he couldn't wear it. Glad Cry had shown me what he looked like before now.

"CRY! I'M HERE!" I shouted over the crowd. He heard me and started making his way towards me but one of the guards grabbed him before he could. It was that other guard Ryan.

"You're not going anywhere you little brat!" Ryan growled as he tried to stab Cry with a knife. My instincts kicked in and I ran forward, ignoring everything around me as the knife grew closer and closer to Cry's face.

I charged at Ryan and pushed him off Cry. He stumbled backwards but didn't fall over. Ryan let out a growl and charged at me instead but Cry stepped in front of me. The two of them fell to the ground, knocking me over at the same time.

Someone else fell on top of me as a zombie attacked them and blood splattered all over me. I tried to wriggle out from under them but my arms burned too much and I couldn't. Then the weight vanished and I was pulled to my feet. Danny stood in front of me.

"Are you okay?" He asked. I nodded and looked at the two men fighting on the floor a distance from us. They had managed to wriggle further away from us while I was down. I grabbed Danny's gun and aimed at Ryan, shooting him without hesitation. He fell limp on top of Cry and I ran forward.

"Cry! Cry are you okay?" I cried out as I felt to the ground by him. I shoved Ryan's dead body off of him and gasped. Ryan's knife stuck out of Cry's waist covered in blood. Cry pulled it out and dropped it to the floor with a shaky hand.

"Fuck," Cry breathed out before turning to me. "We gotta get out of here."

"Cry you're hurt. Don't be stupid. Danny, cover us. I'm going to try to stop the bleeding so we can escape. Make sure nothing gets to us," I told Dan. He nodded and immediately started shooting anything nearby.

I took my shirt off and tore it up. I helped Cry sit up before tightly wrapping the cloth around his wound. He let out a groan as I helped him stand up and Danny immediately helped support his other side.

We made our way towards the exit, trying to avoid as much chaos as we did. Gunshots and screams still rang out around us as we hurried down the halls, following Danny's directions to get outside. We burst through the front doors to be met with a group of men lined up with guns directed at us.

"Woah, put your guns down!" Dan yelled. The men were hesitant upon seeing me and Cry but followed their instructions. "There's a breach inside. Go in and clear it out. And if you see Mary send her here right away."

The men all nodded before rushing inside to help. The gunfire continued as we fan to a van and Dan opened the back. We sat Cry up against the wall in the back (since the back seats were down) and I sat in front of him, putting pressure on his wound.

"Come on Cry. Don't leave me please. I know I nearly left you so many times but I don't know what I'd do without you please," I cried. Cry put his hand on mine and smiled at me.

"Stay safe. I might die but I certainly will never leave you," He breathed out. I felt tears run down my face as his words sank in.

"Cry please don't say that. Tell me it's going to be okay. Tell me you'll live," I begged. I heard Mary's voice from behind me and Dan trying to explain everything as they ran over. But it was all a blur as I focused on Cry. His dull, fading eyes; the way they made everything seem calm. His gentle smile that made everything seem okay. The way he leaned forward and kissed me.

"It will be okay Felix," He whispered as his eyes closed. He slowly fell back and his hand slid away from mine. He didn't respond as I called his name. I was pulled away from him and let out choked screams for him to wake up. I felt something prick my skin and everything went black.

Good day to you all
