*sequel to First Time*

If there was one thing Jerome Roy could change about his life, he wouldn't even have to think about his answer:
Nothing.
He wouldn't change anything at all. Sure, he doesn't...
When the first episode of VidGalore Battles aired yesterday, Lucy put it on the TV for us to watch. That only made me feel even less confident about it, watching me lose both challenges almost immediately.
At least Jerome was right about the other competitors wanting to leave me alone. After watching that episode, there was no way they would put me up for voting just to separate me and Jerome.
A physical fight almost broke out yesterday between Jerome and Dirk. They were arguing quite loudly which drew attention to everyone and we all got there right as the fight was about to break out. Dirk was going to throw the first punch, but Cheryl had to hold him back and I had to hold Jerome back.
Jerome wasn't telling me what the argument was about. I wanted him to tell me, but I had a feeling it was going to be aired in the next episode since people love drama on reality TV.
The next challenge was going to start soon, but right now Lucy told all of us to wait in the living room. Shortly after, she came in carrying a small box. "So, before you start the next challenge, it's time to reveal who this week's fan favourite is," Lucy said. "After the episode aired, people voted online for who their favourite on the show was and who it is gets to choose a card from this box, which will help you in the competition."
Lucy was always holding a clipboard and she set down the box to read off the clipboard.
"When people voted, they could give a reason as to why they chose who they voted for and here is a bunch of reasons why this week's fan favourite was chosen," she said before looking at the clipboard. "'He's too precious for the world.' 'He is like a little cinnamon roll and he's too cute.' 'Omg, he's so pure, protect him.' 'If he doesn't win this week's fan favourite, I think it's rigged.'"
"Ooh, so it's a he," Dirk said. "Who is it, exactly?"
"I'm getting to that," Lucy said. "A hashtag was also started, and it's all over VidGalore, Twitter, and other websites. #ProtectNolanAtAllCosts."
"M-me?" I asked.
Lucy nodded. "Congratulations, Nolan. You are this week's fan favourite. You won by a landslide, in fact." She set the clipboard down and picked up the box. "Come pick a card out of here and read it out loud."
I got up from the couch and walked over as she opened up the box. She held it out towards me and I picked one of the cards and read it out loud. "If you're alone in this competition, you'll be immune to elimination this week," I said. "If you and your partner are both still in this competition, then you're both immune to elimination for two weeks."
"Oh, I'm so proud of my husband," Jerome said as I walked back to the couch and sit down, and he wrapped his arms around me in a side hug.
"Isn't that a little unfair?" Dirk asked. "Being immune to elimination for two weeks?"
"You're just jealous because you didn't win the fan favourite," Jerome said. Dirk just glared at Jerome in reply.
"The card said what it said," Lucy said. "If you don't think that's fair, then you're going to want to try your best to avoid elimination since you won't be immune to it. Now, the next challenge is ready so let's head outside."
Everyone followed her outside where the next challenge was set up. There were nine square tables, each in their own little area separated by some sort of divider. I was guessing this challenge, you couldn't see what anyone else was doing.
"As you see on each table, there are a bunch of different three-dimensional wooden shapes," Lucy said. "When the challenge starts, you are going to want to take those shapes so they perfectly make a cube like this." She walked over to the sitting area where the shapes have created a cube and held it up. "As you can see, there are no holes. The shapes have perfectly lined up to make this cube. After you make it, hit the buzzer on your table and you'll be the winner. Everyone, go find a table."
Lynn went to the sitting area while everyone went to their own table. I looked at the pieces, waiting for the start. This didn't look too difficult.
Lucy told us all to go, so I began playing around with the pieces before I started putting them together. This was a lot easier than I thought it would be.
"You know, I don't think any challenge can go by with a few distractions," Lucy said, and shortly after some very loud music began playing. I was able to tune it out and continue working on making the cube.
When I finished, I hit the buzzer. The music died down and Lucy said, "Already?" I nodded, so she walked over to inspect the cube. "Well, that was fast. Everyone, we have our winner."
"What?" I heard Dirk ask from the section he was in. "The was way too fast. Who won?"
"Obviously not you," I heard Jerome say. "....But seriously, who won?"
"The winner of today's challenge is Nolan," Lucy said.
"Wait, seriously?" Jerome said, stepping out from his area and to look over.
"Seriously, he finished the cube in less than five minutes," Lucy said.
Jerome smiled and gave me a hug. "See? I told you you'll be able to win some challenges," he said in a soft voice.
"Alright, Nolan," Lucy said. "Who are you putting up for elimination?"
Time for some payback.
"I'll be putting up Dirk and Cheryl," I said.
"No surprise there," Dirk said sarcastically.
All we needed was for anyone but Dirk or Cheryl to win the next contest and one of them would be gone.
