I smiled at mom, trying not to look worried. She smiled back and left my room.

I had decided then that I wanted to burn the book, but where was I supposed to burn it? There was no way mom would let me set a book aflame. So I did the next best thing; I smashed it with a hammer.

I went outside the next day on the way to school and I threw it on the ground, smashed it and ripped all the pages out.

I put it in a dumpster truck that was driving by. I was then sure that the book was gone, but it came back when one of my friends gave me a gift a week later.

I destroyed it again, and again, and again, but it came back again, and again, and again.

After I found it in my bag one evening, I gave up. I pulled it out and started reading.

At first it was boring, but then I got sucked into it.

Not metaphorically, I mean literally.

I was sucked into the book.

It was like I was spinning in all directions, even ways I didn't think possible. Twisting, turning, intertwining, it was strange! I screamed for what seemed like hours until I was finally out of whatever that was.

And that's how I got into a new dimension.

I literally read a book.
