I never got around to asking Josh where he had disappeared to after the doctor's office. I figured that he just needed to be somewhere and had forgotten to tell me.

Since Beth had met me at the door every day after school I didn't have to worry about Brady any more. Though I could feel him watching, waiting to strike.

I know he noticed my cast because he had gotten in trouble for laughing in class.

I had made the extremely tough decision to go to college for business, I now realized that opening my own business would be next to impossible without college experience.

After school I decided to stop by Josh's for a quick visit, I needed to know why he hadn't been at school.

I knocked a couple of times before letting myself in. I saw him sleeping on the couch so I slowly tiptoed over to him.

"Pssst, Josh. Josh?" He was out cold.

I sighed and hopped on him.

He grumbled and tried to push me away. I chuckled and threw my other leg over him.

He still wasn't waking up so I bent down and firmly pressed my lips to his.

His eyes flew open in surprise. As soon as he saw it was me he relaxed and kissed back. He loosed sick but I didn't mind.

"What are you doing here?" He asked after we had pulled away.

"Visiting you silly goose," I replied lightly flicking his nose.

He chuckled and started to get up

All it took was a little nudge to push him back down. He looked seriously ill.

"There's no way that you are getting up, you're way to sick" I stated.

He just laughed and turned over, causing me to fall off the couch.

I stood up rubbing my butt and hobbled over to the kitchen, whenever I was sick my mom would make me homemade chicken noodle soup.

I gathered all of the ingredients and started to chop the vegetables.

I could hear Josh coughing in the next room so I chopped faster.

I stirred the soup slowly letting the aroma waft through the house.

I poured two bowls and carefully walked into the living room where Josh was laying.

I took a spoonful of soup and blew on it to make sure it wasn't to hot.

"Here comes the train, woo woo" I teased, pretending to fly the soup towards him. He rolled his eyes but let me feed him.

When all the dishes were clean I decided it was time for me to head home.

"Hey Josh I'm gonna head out, but there is more soup on the stove if you get hungry," I called out.

"Wait," I heard a weak voice say.

"What?" I said taking my hand off the doorknob.

"I need my kiss before you go," he said smirking. That's the Josh I know.

I smiled and made my way over to him.

I leaned in slowly, but just as our lips were about to touch I grinned and pulled away. I felt like Hans from Frozen.

"Nope you're sick, you have to get better before I will kiss you." I taunted.

He frowned and pouted his lip.

I know I kissed him earlier, but I couldn't help it, I missed him so much.

"Hey Josh you know Spring break is coming up and well, we're seniors so I was wondering if you wanted to go somewhere together as a senior trip?" I questioned shyly.

He gave me a true Josh smile and nodded enthusiastically. I was so happy and excited to start planning so I pecked his forehead and ran to my house.

Where would we go? Italy? France? Mexico? Wait! I knew the perfect place.

Hawaii.
