I wrote that short story earlier for three reasons.
1: it was a "what if" scenario. Like what if I never responded to anyone that said anything.
2: I wanted to write something new and explore a new kind of mindset to have me in.
3: I was tired of writing in the second book of the Battle of the Pures trilogy. And I've been writing the second chapter for a while now and I haven't passed two paragraphs.
