I watched Caylen take out "Beauty and the Beast". Oh man was I thankful she didn't take out "Frozen". Don't get me wrong, I love that movie and I love watching it with her let alone watching her watch it, but damn I basically know the whole script by now.

"This okay babe?" Caylen looked at me holding the movie up.

"Perfect." I say smiling back at her.

She puts the movie in her DVD player and jumps on the bed next to me.

"I love you." She says unexpectedly

"I love you too beautiful."

The movie is starting and I know that because I hear Caylen singing along to the Walt Disney Pictures intro. I can't help but laugh at her for as she makes me so happy and enjoy life with everything I have.

"Why are you laughing at me?" She says giggling

"I can't laugh at my goof of a girlfriend?" I say with a sarcastic attitude as if I was faking an angry tone.

She gets up and crosses her arms. She looks so cute when she's pouting.

"Babe..." I smile at her

She stays quiet and is still too far away from me so I get up and she starts running to the other side of the room, away from me.

I know this game. She plays it all the time. It usually has the same game plan: she runs back and forth in the room and I chase after her then after a few minutes I jump over the bed and pick her up on the other side of the room.

This time she took me by surprise. She was running back and forth but right when I was about to jump over the bed she pushes me down on the bed and straddles my hips.

"You okay babe?" She asks giggling because I'm sure I have a puzzled expression on my face.

I blink a couple times as if to try and process what just happened and before I know it she kisses me so soft it makes me fall into a deeper kiss.

We sat like that for a while until she remembered that we were supposed to watch a movie then she got off me and pressed play again.

"Wow you sure know how to catch a girl off guard."

She smiles and bites her lip to interpret her satisfaction with herself then cuddled into my side. I wrapped my arm around her and she laid her head on my chest. I kiss the top of her head, taking in the gorgeous scent of coconut and lavender from her shampoo.

Caylen sang along to every song that appeared in the movie. This girl really knows how to make a girl fall even more, doesn't she?

About 45 minutes into the movie, Stacey knocks on the bedroom door. Caylen pauses the movie and opens the door for her mother who had her hands full with a box of pepperoni pizza.

"I did the liberty of ordering you girls pizza. Want anything to drink?"

"Thanks mom." Caylen said grabbing the pizza from her mothers hands and kissing her cheek.

"Thank you mom. I'll go get the drinks though." I said offering because I could see in Stacey's eyes that she was exhausted.

She nods with a smile and starts heading towards her room. I run out and call to her. She turns around.

"I love you mom. Thank you."

I see tears well up in her eyes and I instinctively bring her into my warm and comforting embrace.

"It's so hard Kels"

I rub her back and comfort her as she lets all her stress and worries out. I reassure her that things will get better. I thank her one again and we part ways, she goes into her room and I make my way downstairs for drinks.

I open the fridge and see bottled vanilla cream soda. My face lights up at the thought of how happy Caylen would be if I brought her one. I grab one for each of us and head back upstairs.

When I enter the room, Caylen is in the bathroom. I wait for her to get out and I take out the drink from behind my back. She smiles so bright and crashes her lips onto mine.

"Great idea baby. Thank you."

I kiss her again and we lay back in bed with our pizza and resume the movie. When the movie first shows the beast's castle, Caylen looks at me.

"Remember when we went to that castle in San Francisco?"

"Babe, we've been over this, you've never been to San Francisco."

"Yeah I have. Twice, one for San Francisco Pride last June and we went on a family trip the summer before that."

"I don't know what you're talking about."

"Of course you do babe, don't be silly. It was huge and they had like 3 pools. I think it was called Hearst Castle. Yeah. Hearst castle. There were zebras and cows. It was beautiful and it was right on the coast so it had a spectacular view of the ocean."

I just starred at her not knowing what to do. She has never been to San Francisco and I know that for a fact. I've known her her whole life. The only places she's been is Florida and The Caribbean.

She began to get agitated. "Kelsey stop fucking with me. I know you were there. Stop playing mind games."

"I'm sorry baby but I don't know what you're talking about."

"Whatever." She sighed

She turned her attention back to the movie and not another word was said in that room that night. Not even an "I love you" or a "goodnight".
