Dylan's P.O.V

"What's wrong?" I asked Megan as we were driving to our date location. I decided to take her out after she got from the hospital.

"Nothing, I just-"

"What? You can talk to me." I said smiling. What was on her mind.

"Are you in a gang?" She asked and I nearly slammed on breaks.

"Excuse me?"

"Someone told me you were in a gang. Are you?"

Tears plagued the outer rim of her eyes and I couldn't lie to her.

"Yeah." I sighed.

"But why?" She sniffled.

"Stop crying baby girl." I said wiping her tears with my thumb. She took a deep breath and looked at me.

"Why?"

"I was asked to join and saying no is not something you ever want to say to a kingpin."

"Why did he ask you?"

"Baby-"

"I want answers Dylan."

"Because I do some drugs here and there. We've been friends since forever and he wanted me to be in his gang."

Tears ran down her face and I tried to wipe them, but she slapped my hand away.

"Baby, please. I didn't mean to hurt you."

"You didn't tell me! I wanted to believe you were a good person, and you do drugs and you're in a gang, what else don't I know about you?"

"I told your everything, baby I'm in love with you and I don't want us not to be together over this."

I stared at her face and it was completely blank.

"Say something."

"I don't want to eat anymore, I'm not hungry."

"You wanna go to my house."

"No, take me home."

"C'mon now."

"Take me home." She repeated and I turned to go back to her house. Tears slipped down her cheek and I wanted to hold her. I knew she wouldn't let me though and I didn't know what to do about that. I stopped at her house.

"Will you call me?" I asked as she got out. She didn't say anything, she just walked into her house. I stared off after her. I would have been wrong if I didn't tell her and now she hates me because I did. There is no way to win with women.
