Darkness poured into the bedroom as the sun set, the vibrant reds, oranges, and pinks replaced with a colorless navy blue. Riley laid beside my naked body, snoring peacefully as he draped his arm over my waist heavily.
Gently pushing his arm to the side I swung my legs over the bed, lightly rising and I tiptoed to what I assumed was the bathroom, and shut the door, hitting the light switch.
I glanced around at the normal looking bathroom, making my way to the bathtub, turning the faucet to hot; filling up the tub.
I glanced at myself in the mirror and smiled slightly while I began smoothing down my messy hair. I lit a vanilla-musk incense and I found a box of matches and killed the lights, lighting a few candles.
Lowering myself into the steaming water I groaned softly, the water easing my sore muscles and I shut my eyes, feeling a steady flow pour from the faucet and onto my toes.
I quickly shaved any areas where hair shouldn't be present, washed my hair with green apple scented hair products, and I drained the tub.
I wrapped a towel around my small figure and sat on the edge of the tub to dry off and apply lotion to my smooth legs, making them smoother and smell sweet.
Riley loved when my legs were freshly shaved.
Removing my towel from my body, I bent over and quickly dried my hair with it, and I tossed the towel on a peg when I finished.
Reentering the room careful not to make noise I found a suitcase, shortly discovering it was Riley's, but I didn't mind. I grabbed the nearest shirt I could find and then found a new pair of panties for myself.
Dressing myself blindly in the dark I felt the hem of Riley's tee shirt reach just below my butt and I exited the bedroom and into the ghostly cabin.
"Might as well make something Riley can eat when he wakes up." I spoke vaguely to myself as I grabbed the cooler Riley packed and dragged it to the kitchen to search for something to cook there.
I settled on spaghetti since I knew that was Riley's favorite. Easily cooking the pasta and making sauce and grating the cheese I set the table and made plates of food with a slice of buttered bread and a glass of water and I shut off the stove.
"Ri? ..." I whispered, lightly shaking him as he continued to sleep.
"What! No! Five more minutes mommy!" He whined, squeezing his eyes shut and turning, burying his face in his pillow.
I giggled softly and rolled my eyes, rubbing his back in slow, soft circles. "Baby, wake up, I made dinner. Spaghetti..your favorite." I whispered sweetly.
Riley groaned and rubbed his eyes, sitting up and yawning before pulling on his boxers and slowly making his way into the kitchen with me.
Once he sat down at the table he started to wake up more and he offered me a groggily grin and he took my hand from across the table, giving me a gentle squeeze. "Thank you so much." He mumbled, his eyes never leaving mine.
"For what?" I dumbly questioned, knowing he meant dinner.
His lips pulled into a firm, appreciative smile and he said, "Thank you for being the most wonderful girl I will ever have in my life."
I blushed softly and leaned across the table, giving Riley a soft, short peck to the lips.
"I like you a lot." Riley whispered, I shook my head, biting my lip.
