Hours seemed merely like seconds as I checked the clock that now read, "4:31 AM" for probably the billionth time this night. I sighed softly, feeling my curls spill across Riley's pillow, as I listened carefully to the sound of his light snoring and the rain that was pouring hard against his windows.

I let my head, my pounding head, rest against his bare chest and feel the thump of his heart beat against my temple, slowly easing me into a slumber. But as always, sleep would not relieve me.

"Riley?" I whispered, my voice sounding strange and muffled. "Ri.." I repeated.

He stirred slightly, slowly flickering his eyelids opened and he glanced around, his eyes meeting the clocks and then looking back to me.

"Is everything alright?" He put on a voice of concern, becoming attentive and sitting up right, causing me to change my position as well.

"Yeah..I just can't sleep." 

He smiled, rubbing his eyelids and sat up, his back against his bed frame and he opened his arms. I scooted closer, wrapping my arms around Riley's waist, feeling him pull me close.

"You're beautiful. You know that, right?" He whispered groggily, giving me a sleepy grin, squeezing my body closer to his.

I felt my cheeks light up, aprreciative it was too dark for Riley to see and I kept my eyes on his, the only light source being the moon, shining brightly through rainy windows.

He left his thumb against my chin, slowly tilting it so our eyes were locked. I felt the ends of my lips curl and my heart flutter.

"Kody?" Riley whispered in a innocent tone. My lashes fluttered and I kept contact, waiting for him to continue. "If anything would have happened to you..I don't even know what I would have done. I just wouldn't be able to live with mys-"

"Stop. Riley. Riley, please stop." I begged, feeling my throat close up and hollow. "I'm fine. I'm right here. I'm right here, laying in your bed, with you, in your arms." I whispered, my shaking hand closing over his own large one.

Riley flipped us, his chest pressing against my own as I felt him support his body weight and my head against his pillows. 

"You mean so much to me, Kod." His thumb stroked my cheek, his face getting closer and closer to mine. The smell of mint and aftershave washing over my senses.

"Prove it.." Was all I whispered, biting my lip as Riley flickered his eyes and his classic smirk sprawled across his lips. 

Riley leaned his face even closer and I could feel his lip, soft and so steady barely brush against mine. He let out a low chuckle, his minty breath hitting me in the face and I kept my eyes locked on his face, my heart pounding.

"As you wish.." He smirked, his pearly white teeth showing as he pressed his lips to mine gentely.

That's how it started out, however. 

Riley knew what he was doing. He knew what he was doing well. He softly brushed his lips across mine, his chest brushing against mine as he ran his hand down my arm, the other one holding himself up, supporting his weight.

I felt butterflies flutter throughout my body, my heart racing faster and faster every second.

His lips started to become more forceful, more powerful, more hungry.

His hand grabbed my hip, hiking my shirt up, his flesh against my own.

He panted softly, not seeming to notice the effect he was having on me. I moved my lips with his to the best of my ability, being daring and taking his plump, soft lip between my teeth, causing a faint moan to escape his lips.
