Chapter 13

As I enter my office I see a bouquet of flower which brings smile to my face but soon it wipes out because it's not from Kyle. "These are the final flowers picked out for the engagement. The shop, send it as a sample. You like it?" Lily asks and I nod.

We go through all the final check-list for engagement party of Kate. As I reply my final email for the day Lily walks in with the pizza "Is it lunch already?" she shakes her head "Nope way past time" I take a slice before munching in it.

I take my phone to check but no calls or messages from Kyle. Interesting, here I thought after last night he would be more attentive to me guess talking about my ex ruined his mood.

"You talked about your ex with him? Wow you guys must be serious then to let on because you never talk about him to anyone, I mean literally to anyone." she speaks amazed.

"Damn I need to stop thinking out loud" I grumble eating my pizza.

"I hope you are done ignoring me or sulking enough because I can't take it any longer. I'm sorry! It wasn't supposed to end like that in the dinner. I just wanted to rile Kyle up a bit but it was a bad move from my side none the less I'm extremely sorry." Kate storms in babbling her apology.

"What do you think about joining me and my friends for a girl's night out?" I ask all of sudden to say she is forgiven in my way.

She jumps hugging me "I would love to thank you for accepting my apology" After Kate's outburst apology, love and hugs she takes the leaves. Lily & I wrap our work for the day as well.

I check my home phone to see if Kyle has left any messages but nope so i try calling him. It rings but goes to voice mail. I change from my work clothes then lay on the couch for a bit closing my eyes when Brad burst in opening my door. I jerk as he drags me out of the apartment building to his car.

"Wait, where are you taking me?" I ask but he just gets in the car and starts it I sigh before I get in. He drives us to his restaurant "I'm not getting in with these clothes" I shake my head but he just drag me. As I enter the door I'm speechless.

"Wow it's" he interrupts "Awesome! I know" he grins. I look around "what have you done?' I ask amazed. He has not just renovated the restaurant but changed it completely into a night club with poles. Seriously!

"I hope you are not opening strippers club" I tease him. "Well?" he says so I look at him wide eyes "Really? No-way" I exclaim.

"Nah I'm not I was just bored with the restaurant this is more exciting" he saying grinning. I grin back "Yap it sure looks exciting with all these beds and poles" I state.

He laughs hardly "I'm not opening a stripper's club so take that dirty thoughts out of your mind" he scolds. We move in around & check everything.

"Wow a karaoke you got to be kidding me! This is so cool. I so want to do the pole dance" I ask surprised. "I knew you were wild" he teases.

"So when's opening?" I ask him "Tomorrow" he replies. Just then I get an idea.

"Then let me book it for a night for my girl's night out" I ask him "I would be insane to miss the chance of seeing you girls getting wild and dirty" he winks and we make a deal. We go back to my apartment where he starts cooking us dinner chicken curry.

"Oh this smells delicious! It's been so long you cooked dinner for me I missed my wife" I tease him. Suddenly he stops chopping the salad & look at me with a gleam in his eyes which tells me to run.

I run to the living room where he follows me "Oh come on don't be like this oh husband of mine. All your wife wants is a kiss" We both do circle around the couch. I'm too focused from getting away from Brad that I don't notice Kyle coming in.

He grabs me from behind so I scream "Hey troublemaker what have you done now" he teases me whispering in my ear before biting it. I turn around to hide behind Kyle.

"Oh thank you for catching my husband" Brad mimics in a girly voice before dragging me out of Kyle's back "Now where were we?" he asks before leaning forward, kissing my forehead.

He moves to the kitchen as I rub my forehead making gagging sound at Brad while Kyle looks at us bewildered. He follows Brad to the kitchen "Why are you kissing my girl in front of me?" he demands.

Brad replies cheekily "OK won't happen again I'll try to kiss her before you come in next time."

I go wrap myself to Kyle from behind before he cuts Brad head "I missed you." He drags me from behind to his front.

"Ah! Let me see my sweetness. Did you have a good day?" he asks holding my face as I nod. "How about you? You look worn out" I ask. He pecks me saying "Rough day."

I hug him when Brad announces "OK lovebirds! Dinner is ready" Kyle goes to wash up a bit while I move to set the table. I hum a tune setting the plates when Brad bumps with me I raise my eyebrow at him but he just chuckles.

"Funny it was like yesterday when you were hiding behind me from him but now looks like the role is reversed" I smile at that.

Kyle joins us for dinner which was amazing. We settle down in the couch while both the guys have beer while I have a soft drink. I lay my head on Kyle's chest as he plays with my hair. We all watch some news silently before they settle it on sports.

After a while Kyle asks "I heard you girls are having a night out" Brad snickers at that but I just ignore him. "So where are you girls going may I know?" Kyle asks.

I look up to him to whine "Can't Kate keep her mouth shut for once?" he chuckles "We can always hope."

"Me and my friends have been doing this from past 4 years. We meet have some fun share each other stories and stuff you know. That's all you are allowed to know" I state.

"Don't even bother to get details trust me I have tried hard very hard to make Emma tell me but never got a word, that little monster beside you is the mastermind beside all this. She'll die but won't say a word." he adds.

I throw a cushion at him "Who you calling monster you Anaconda" I yell "Oh shit! Help me! Someone help me from my abusive wife" he fakes cry I groan "You traitor" I snap back.

Kyle pulls me back in his arms chuckling. "Are you guys always like this?" he asks as Brad shrugs "Nah we are worse"

Kyle kiss my temple "Relax I won't ask details until and unless you are not doing anything illegal and you are safe OK?" he sips his drink before asking "I was wondering if you don't mind me asking then why are you and Lucas still friends after everything?"

Brad chuckles before I could answer "Trust her to marry a guy that turns out to be gay and then cheat with her best gay friend with whom she is still friends with. God fatty I can't believe you didn't figure it out before anyone" I glare at him.

"Like you did genius?" he just looks at me challenging

"Who do you think told Lucas to go seduce him?"

I look at him in shock "No way you didn't! How? Why?" I ask him in disbelief. He takes a big gulp from his beer "The way he was so interested in Andrew the 1st time they met, I knew he wasn't what he claims to be. I mean come on no one can be that perfect!" I was speechless for a while.

I turn bit red from anger and embarrassment before getting up to go out for a fresh air.
