Chapter 23

Brad and Emma throw a get together at Brad's house to celebrate there patch up which was a long due. We all gather in his apartment "Cheapo!" I call him "The owner of the hottest club in town throws a patch up party in his apartment that's like next door to mine" I comment.

"Hey now that's for precaution you girls go crazy after a drink and I didn't want to see you doing pole dance. Shit not the kind of image I want in my head, not even hundred of strippers can take that out" he makes face as if he wants to puke and mocks me.

Everyone laughs at me. I fold my arms and glare all of them so Kyle pulls me to his side and whisper "it's a good thing then because I don't want my wife doing pole dance in front of all, but just me. If you want we can set a pole in our bedroom we got plenty of space" he kisses my temple as I giggle imaging how it will be putting there one.

Rachel looks at me and raises an eyebrow while asking "So what's the status of your relation I hope you two are not planning on just dating right? What about engagement or marriage?"

Kyle stiffens at that while I just drink my juice and reply "Well why, don't you worry about your relation status and leave us alone I like my being not commited to anyone" and hug Kyle.

After the dinner and some talks we say our goodbye, we get to my apartment and sit on the couch snuggling "So when are you going to talk to your mom about us?" Kyle asks "soon" I say to tired to talk "Ya but when?" he asks.

I sigh "this Sunday lunch happy?" he just nods. I start to ask what's wrong when Brad barge in.

Great! He drops at the sofa "hey lovebirds" he cheers. "What are you doing here? Go to Emma" I snap. "Ya, ya I will just came to drop some leftovers here" and smiles. I roll my eyes at him.

"OK guys, I will leave goodnight" Kyle kisses my forehead and leaves.

Brad and I watch him intently and then look at each other "Whoa! What was that? I think I haven't done anything to you now, or did I interrupt you guys?" Brad asks and I shrug "nah it's late and there's something going in his work I guess" I supply and he nods.

Mom and Angie watches Alex playing while Emma and I we are in the kitchen arranging plates. Kyle, Brad and Andrew are at backyard with there drinks chilling out.

"So, is everything good at your work?" asks Brad Kyle and he nods. Kyle has been having some foul mood through out the week.

"I think I need to kidnap my wife and hide her away" Andrew comments.

"Why?" Brad asks.

"Alex has been cock blocking me and I think I will die with blue balls, he keeps barging in our room whenever we are starting like that boy got 6th sense how daddy going to do unspeakable things with mommy" Andrew groans.

Brad laughs "At least you have her legally man look at us these gals are going to be death to us damn! I can hardly get a kiss from her before Emma kicks me out" he shakes his head. "What about you, getting some? Knowing Sarah hope she doesn't make you go crazy before starting anything?" Brad passes and both the guys laugh while Kyle gulps his drink silently.

Andrew and Brad both looks at each other and then to Kyle. "You ok? You seem in an awful mood today. Thought the Domino project was a done deal?" Andrew asks.

"Ya it is I'm good just tired" Kyle replies.

"Did you and Kyle have a fight?" Emma asks me. "Huh? No why would you say so?" I ask.

"Well look out both the guys are laughing and enjoying but not Kyle you think something wrong" she looks at me "nope we are good don't worry" I say and take the food to the table.

I thought he was fine but guess the nervousness getting at him to about the announcement. "Ok everyone food is ready" we all take our seats and start eating, I look at Kyle and he is looking at me. I smile and hold his hand guess time to begin the show.

"I need to say something to you guys" I start and all look at me.

"Well I know I should have told you this before but mom, Emma" that's when Brad shouts "damn Emma you told her that we are engaged!" I look at them startle.

Emma looks wide eyed as she speaks, "what no I didn't but how did you find out that we are engaged. Aww! Sarah you are such a spoiler we were going to announce it at desert"

"What? Ah no, that's not" I try but get interrupted "OK folks I purposed Emma again and we are going to get married next month. I don't want it to be a long engagement damn! I already did that 6years ago" Brad announces and I stand dumbstruck. Everyone congrats them and start eating well I just lost my appetite how am I going to say that I'm married and ruin the spotlight from Emma?

All this while, Kyle doesn't say a word. I'm going to kill Brad, after the awful lunch for me Kyle drives us home and announce "Try to tell your mom in few days I don't think I can handle this secret anymore and I don't think I can hide it from my parents anymore"

I nod before I state "OK I will talk just give me sometime" he nods and walks away to the door.

"Where are you going?" I ask him. "I think it's better if I tell them now then waiting much longer and anyway Kate is coming today so do you want to join?" he asks "sure" I tag alone.

We reach to the house and meet everyone, Kate looks happy as usual and has brought gifts to all of us. "Sarah and I well we got married" Kyle announces just like that. Kate drops the gifts she is holding and screams piercing all of our ears.

"Oh my God! How? When? Why didn't I know about it? Mom, Dad? Why didn't I get to know this? Liam did you know? Sarah oh god, you are my sister now" she keeps ranting.

"Slow down your horse Kate please! And why didn't we not know about it Kyle? Didn't you want us to join your happiness? It's not like we were against your relation so what's the meaning of all this?" Kyle's mom asks disappointed.

"Mom it's nothing like that, it just happened and well we can always have an after party. You know I don't like my personal life in spotlight which would be if I had a big wedding" he replies.

"So you had a shotgun marriage and forgot to even involve your parents? That's not how we grew you up" Kyle's dad booms I stay there frozen as Kyle gets up from his seat and sits next to me and speak "Dad calm down a bit you are scaring my wife" but before anything else happens I start.

"It was my idea I didn't want a big wedding and then I haven't said my family so he was waiting on it but then we found my sister getting married so I couldn't talk to them and then Kate came so it was just an idea that we tell you all now than later because then we will and god I'm not making sense" I stop babbling.

I look around to see all are watching me intently. Then suddenly Kyle's dad laughs and after a while everyone erupts oh god! I hide my face. Kyle's dad speaks "Son your wife is hilarious, well I can't wait to have Sunday dinner with her" I groan.
