Chapter 28

We settle down in Sophie's living room everyone stares at us thinking where to begin with.

"Stop staring at us it's creepy and rude, if you got something to say just get it out already" Sarah snaps while I chuckle at her outburst.

She snuggles to me more closely like she wants to be attached to me and I know she does, so I pull her to my lap as she rests her head on my chest.

"So, when did you guys exactly got married?" Andrew asks.

"After Kate's wedding" Sarah replies.

"When exactly" Angie adds.

"Let me" I say to Sarah "as in after all the guest went home same day Kate got married well it was night when we took our vows though" I chuckle at last part.

"Um so how did you manage to get her ready?" Angie asks.

"I didn't it was just an idea out of nowhere and before we could think more we got married" I reply.

Everyone keeps asking questions and we take turn answering them. Finally after there curiosity died we go to eat the dinner. Sophie has prepared salad, pasta, chicken rolls, rice and some vegetable gravy.

Sarah jumps to get taste of it but I stop" You are on medicine babe you can't eat all this" I say while Sophie brings some vegetable soup, salad and porridge for her.

She looks at me accusingly and say" I'm so not eating this while you all are enjoying that" she points out our food.

"Yes you are and don't even think arguing you can have it all when you are healthy enough so now eat up" with that we all start eating our food except Sarah who just stares at her food like someone just asked her to eat dirt.

"It's not that bad go on" her mother encourages her.

"I hate you all and more you" she says and points towards me.

I sigh and start "don't be a drama queen just eat you can hate me all you want but now just finish this"

"But I don't want to" she whines.

I excuse us and take her food and her towards the sofa and pull her to my lap before asking her to open her mouth.

She shakes her head like a kid but one angry eye towards her and she opens her mouth while I feed her "sallow it and don't make me repeat it again, if you don't behave then I'm leaving you here with your mom and go alone" I threaten her and she shallows it with tears rolling down her eyes.

I wipe her tears and feed her after sometime she eats it without any acts. I look at the table and everyone is peeking at us between there chew amazed I wink towards them and they smile.

After Sarah finishes her dinner I go to join others while Sarah sits on my lap. "God Sarah that's so corny let the guy eat in peace, he is not running away you don't have to be attached to him by the hip" Emma points.

"You are just jealous serves you right remember all those years how you and Brad became lovey dopey in front of us now that I got my chance it's suddenly corny you hypocrite" she retorts back making all of us and Emma huffs eating silently.

"I want to have a chicken roll please" she whispers.

"No, it's to oily n spicy for you get well soon and I will let you have all the things you want to eat" I reply.

After the dinner is done we move to backyard and have some drinks. Sarah chats with Alex animatedly and I smile looking at them.

"She will be a great mom" Andrew speaks and I look at him as I reply.
