"So you want to be part of the 'I've Got A Dream' song so bad, but what would your dream even be?" I asked as we neared The Snuggly Duckling.
"Um... That's a good question. I would say my dream is to be in a Disney movie, but..." Prince gestured all around us. "We are in a Disney movie."
"That's your only dream?" I asked.
"I can't think of anything else." Prince said. "I have everything. I'm on a roller coaster that only goes up."
"Isn't that a quote from The Fault In Our Stars?" I asked.
"Something like that." Prince said. "Anyways, what about you? What's your dream?"
"Uh... I can't think of anything either." I lied.
The truth is, I could think of lots of things. But none of them were something I wanted to name.
The main one? I guess... Be a hero for once. Just once I would like to be a hero instead of a villain.
We snuck into The Snuggly Duckling and we saw Rapunzel giving her pre-song speech, if you can call it that, about how she has a dream. Everyone was looking at her, so thankfully we got in unnoticed.
"Haven't any of you ever had a dream?" Rapunzel asked.
"I... had a dream... once."
The line was said that set the song into motion.
I looked at Prince. "Just don't get carried away."
"Pfft. When have I ever gotten carried away?" Prince said.
"You don't want me to go there." I teased.
"Fine." Prince said.
The song started.
I'm malicious, mean and scary
My sneer could curdle dairy
And violence-wise, my hands are not the cleanest
But despite my evil look
And my temper and my hook
I've always yearned to be a concert pianist
Can'tcha see me on the stage performing Mozart
Tickling the ivories till they gleam
Yup, I'd rather be called deadly
For my killer show tunes medley

See, I ain't as cruel and vicious as I seem!
Though I do like breaking femurs
