Chapter 49

Jonathan's POV:

"What am I going to do Anthony," I said to my pillow.

"I've never really had to deal with a situation like this before," Anthony replied and I snuggled into him.

"I know but it's just hard. My biggest secret is so close to being revealed.... I don't know what to do if it actually happens," I said and he wraps his arms tight around me.

"I don't know but if it does happen I'll do anything to help you escape... even if it means I have to run with you," Anthony said and I blushed.

"Would you actually do that for me," I mumbled and I felt him kiss me on the forehead.

"Of course I'd do anything for you," Anthony said and I smiled softly.

"Why are you so amazing," I mumbled into him.

"Because I'm lucky to have you," he said in return.

"I have to go into work," I said and he held on to me tighter.

"Can't you just not go today. I'm sure they'll be fine without you for a day," Anthony said and I shook my head.

"Where going out to see if we can find any clues on where they took Brock. And also to check up on Marcel. He is a close friend of mine since we were kids," I said and I could picture him frowning.

"Alright alright I'll let you go. But you owe me some cuddles tonight," Anthony said and I felt him release me.

I got up from his hold and I pecked a kiss on his lips. I went to my bathroom and I looked at myself in the mirror. Deep down I know that what's her face is still in the basement. I should have let her go but I was too distraught about Marcel and Brock... I just hope that they're both okay. I washed my face in the sink and I sighed. I really don't want to go but I have feeling if I don't everything could change.

I got out of the bathroom and saw that Anthony had left the room. I changed out of my clothes into fresh new ones. I then walked to the teleporter and transported myself to the base. I got out and headed towards the infirmary. I really didn't get to see him when we got back because De took over. I was thankful because I just wanted to pass out after that.

I entered the infirmary surprised that I wasn't stopped. I saw Lui was already here and holding onto Marcel's hand. I smiled softly and stood next to Lui. I hugged him making him tensed but he relaxed in my hold.

"You're warm," Lui whispered and I chuckled.

"I'm always warm," I said and he stays silent.

"Not always," I think I heard Lui but I wasn't too sure.

"Ugh god my head hurts," Marcel suddenly said making us both gasp.

"Mar mar," I said and he moved his hand to his head.

"Please this headache hurts," Marcel said and Lui went to get an Advil.

"I'm so glad you're awake," Lui said handing him the pill and some water.

"Ugh how long have I been out," Marcel said as he took the pill.

"Since last night what happened," I said and his eyes widen.

"Oh oh oh my god," Marcel said struggling to get out of bed.

"No you're hurt," Lui said pushing him down.

"Get everyone in here now," Marcel said and I quickly left.

"Hey guys Marcel's awake," I said as I saw them in the living room.

"He is," Tyler said and quickly rushed to the infirmary with Craig following behind.

David got up as well and went to Marcel. I followed David not really wanting to see Evan. But I felt his hand grab onto mine. I felt being turned to him and I was staring into his brown eyes. It was some couple of minutes before I pulled my hand out of his and stood there.

"We should go and see Marcel," I said and from the look of his eyes I could tell he hasn't slept at all.

I turned around and walked away, but I could hear his footsteps coming closer. I entered the infirmary with Evan following behind me. They managed to make Marcel lay down as he had a panicked look on his face.

"What's wrong Marcel," Evan said getting serious.

"When I was on top of the roof with Seananners he told me something that just doesn't make sense," Marcel said and everyone got serious.

"What did he say," Tyler said folding his arms across this chest.

"He said How did you think my family found me so easily," Marcel said and my heart nearly dropped.

"So you're saying there's a traitor here," Craig asked his eyes widening.

I could see Lui's eyes turned towards me and o could tell that he suspects me already. I mean who wouldn't...

"But that's fucking crazy we've all known each other since we were younger," Tyler said.

"Except for Delirious," Tyler than said and I wanted to faint

"You're kidding right come on I wasn't even able to go on that mission," I said angrily.

I let myself be cornered once. I won't let myself be cornered again. Of course De would fucking snitch on the team. Adam seems to be very close to him personally. I glared at Tyler making him glare at me.

"Getting mad at each other won't solve anything. And maybe it was the media. They can't keep quiet about shit," David said.

"Well whatever the fuck happened we have to put behind us because top priority is Brock," Evan said and everyone had nodded their head.

I may have been cleared this time but who knows what could happen in the future.

A little on the short side but meh as long as its an update I'm all good. There so close like so freaking close to discover what Jonathan really is. I'm so excited for the future chapters like top notch I want shit to happen already haha
