Starting Line

Chapter 7

Deku P.O.V.

I had finally gotten over my flu. It was Friday when I got back to school. Right away Ochako and Iida checked if I was ok. I looked at Kacchan while we were talking.

He looked mad. Madder than usual. He seemed to be staring right at Todoroki. He better not still be mad. I saw him glance at me and his glare lighten up. 

The rest of the class you could feel the tension Kacchan was giving off. 

"He was like that the whole week." Ochako told me. This got me worried. Kacchan was pretty angry on Saturday. I thought we cleared it up. Kacchan wouldn't get this jealous would he? I didn't want him getting in a fight with Todoroki. With their quirks it wouldn't end up too well.

"Deku?" I looked at Ochako who was waving her hand in front of my face.

"Sorry..." 

Class was over and Aizawa-sensei made me stay back for my missed homework. I was about to leave when Todoroki showed up in the doorway.

"Izuku?" he asked. I look up at him.

"Yeah, Todoroki?" I said. Why did he keeping showing up?

"I'm just wondering if you were free tonight."

"I am..." I said.

"Then would you like to go see a movie with me?"he asked politely. I don't think Kacchan would like that. But if that was my excuse he may get suspicious. 

"Yes, what time?" Kacchan wasn't the boss of me.

Todoroki then walked to the door, "Outside the theater at 6." I nodded.

"It's a date." he said then left. Me speechless.
