Starting Line

Chapter 5

Kacchan P.O.V.

It's been two weeks since Deku and I started dating. Everything was great. We acted normal in school. I was rude to Deku and Deku was... well Deku. We would meet after school and hung out on the weekends.

We didn't think it was going to be this easy but it was.

It was a Friday afternoon. Everyone had left the classroom and it was just me and Deku. Deku sat up on his desk. He wrapped his arms around my shoulders. We just talked then.

"What do you want to do this weekend?" I asked him.

Deku shrugged, "Wanna hang out at my house and watch movies?"

I nod. "Sounds good." I then lean in for a kiss. Right when we're about to kiss-

"Hey Deku do you know-" Ochako stops when she sees us.

"Um..." she said awkwardly. She then started to back out of the room with her hands up.

"Wait!" Deku yelled, unwrapping his arms from my shoulders.

"I sorry! I shouldn't of- I didn't know! WAIT?! You and Bakugo?!" she said as if she just realized who I had my arms around.

"Um yeah." Deku said.

"Gotta a problem?" I said threateningly.

"NO! Just... you two!" she said. I look her down I understand where she's coming from I was still a little angry.

"What about us two?" I said. 

"Kacchan..." Deku warned. I don't know why I was getting so angry, yet I was.

"It's just, you act like you hate Deku! So you two being together is kind of weird." she said. I was about to yell at her but Deku grabbed my arm.

"We've just been keeping it a secret." explained Deku. I started to calm down.

"So I'm the only one who knows?" she asked. 

"So far." Deku said smiling. Man he's cute.

"Ok..." she said.

"What?" I snapped.

"Just why are you keeping it secret. You two actually seem kinda cute." she said.

"That's none of your-" I started but was cut off by Deku.

"We just don't want it to be too weird in class." he said. Ochako nodded.

"Ok I'll keep you two lovers a secret!" she said happily. I noticed Deku blush at the word "lovers". Ochako then  ran off. I interlaced hands with Deku then we walked to his house.
