Chapter four
Kristen's POV: I sit their with my head in my hands bawling. "Well," Alli speaks,"you can...." Before she can finish Danny comes in. "Hey Kristen how are you doing?" He comes over and sits next to me. "Hey... So what happened? Did they get her?" "yea they took her, wanna come out?" "Sure.." I stand up wiping my tears away. Danny puts his arm on my shoulder and holds me close to him. I look up and smile at him. We walk on stage to see Charles and Travis talking to the police. "What are they doing?" "They are asking us all questions. It's ok I told them not to ask you." I smile and hug him. "Danny, why did this happen to me?" "I don't know Kristen, maybe it was for the best.." "FOR THE BEST?!? Danny I lost my whole life!! The only thing I have left is.... Is... No one... Danny I have no one." He gets down to my level and I cry into his shoulder and he holds me close. "Kristen you have us.." "And the CTFxC!" Charles comes over and adds in. "I told the CTFxC about you and they hope that everything gets better." Alli comes out and puts her hands on Charles' shoulders, "char, I need to speak with you, now." Charles turns and kisses her cheek. "Ok coming," he smiles and walks away with Alli.
Alli's POV: "char, can she... You know, live with us?" I'm nervous about asking him. "Alli, we barely know her... We can't just let her live with us!" I gasp at his response. "Charles! She has no one to go to! We can't put her in a foster home! Please char!" "Alli no! We can't have her live with us!" "You so ignorant sometimes Charles!!" Right when I say that I regret it. "Char I didn't mean it..." He looks at me with a hurt expression on his face. "I get it Alli, you care about a girl we barely know more than your husband. I get it I'll just be leaving..." He walks out without saying where he is going. I break down and cry. I can't just loose him! "Charles wait!" I say through tears. I come running out to the stage to see the whole band, including Kristen, staring at me. "Where did Charles go?" Danny walks over to me and softly pulls me to the side. "Alli, what did you do to him? He just left not saying a word. Alli whatever you said to him you made him cry!" I can feel my jaw drop and tears stream down my face. "Where did he go?" "I don't know but wherever her went he didn't want you to follow!" He walks away and over to the band. "I'm leaving and umm... Lindsey, come with me, please." "Ok I'll come," she grabs her keys and we run out of the door. I need to find Charles before something bad happens.
Charles' POV: it's been near twenty minutes since I left the venue. I walked down the street kicking pebbles. I can't believe Alli... She called me ignorant... Or did I go to far? "Charles!!" I hear a familiar voice yell. "Charles come back!" I turn around to see Alli and Lindsey running towards me. "Alli!" I run towards her and pick her up when I hug her. "Alli, I'm so sorr-" "no Charles, I'm sorry." She buries her face into my neck. "Charles?" She says as I put her back down. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean it... I didn't mean to call you ignorant... I love you." She hugs me and I hug back.
When we return to the venue everyone stares at Alli like she did something wrong. "Danny yelled at me," she whispers into my ear. "It's ok just forget about it," I whisper back smiling. I grab her hand and we walk over to Kristen. "Kristen, how would you like to live with us?" I say smiling.
