Dinner party

Chapter ten
Alli's POV: "ok everyone let's sit down!" Kristen and Charles grab extra chairs for everyone to sit down. Everyone sits next to their date except for me. Kristen is on my left and Jenny is on my right. Charles sits next to Kristen and Danny. I sigh because he didn't sit next to me. "Ok for dinner Kristen and I made lasagna and a salad." I give everyone a plate and a bowl for the salad. "Thanks this is really good." Lindsey says taking a bite of the salad. Charles gets up and pours wine for everyone but him and Kristen. After we finish eating we play with the dogs and then we change into our bathing suits. "What's wrong with Charles?" Danny pulls me to the side and asks. "I don't really know all I know is three days ago him and Kristen pranked me like a ton. I went off on him and went to stay with my parents. He didn't call me or text me, only Kristen. When I came back he said sorry but he is still not speaking to me. He hugged me and kissed me and apologized like three times but he isn't talking to me! Not even sitting by me now." I tell Danny. He nods and replies, "well he isn't acting the same. He hasn't even said a word to me. Only hugged me and said hi." I nod at Danny. I go in the pool and hang out with Lindsey and Jenny. I hear the guys talking inside so I decide to go in. Charles sits on the couch with Coley and Travis talking. I haven't heard his laugh in a while, I miss it. I wrap a towel around me and walk over to him. "There's the old Charles!" I say hugging him. Once I say that he goes back to how he was acting before. I frown and walk back outside and I hear them laughing again. I sigh and call Danny over. "Danny! He is acting normal just not around me..." He hugs me. "Maybe he was shocked you yelled at him?" I shake my head. "He said he was over that... But maybe he isn't." I felt a tear trickle down my face as I walked inside.
Kristen's POV: "Alli, what's wrong?" I say chasing after Alli. "It's just that Charles is acting weird.. What happened to him?" She looks down at her feet then keeps walking. I grab her hand and pull her back. "Charles did act different when you were gone... Maybe he didn't think you would come back..." She looks up at me shocked. "Really? He would think that?" I shrug my shoulders and explain, "you know him more than me... But he was shocked when you yelled at him. He missed you a ton, I would wake up to him crying. He wanted to be strong for me so he didn't call you. He thought he could have survived without you being here. He tried his best to take care of me but it broke him down not having you here... Now that your back he is scared you will leave again." I said locking eye contact with her the whole time. "Thanks Kristen." She says leaving.
Alli's POV: I need to talk to Charles! I can't believe he thought I wouldn't come back! I change my clothes and go to find Charles. "Char, come here." I run into the front room grabbing his hands. "Can I speak with you?" He nods in response and follows me to our room. I close the door behind me and start talking. "Char, I know something is wrong... I just want to say that I will never leave you again." I hug him and he hugs back. "Alli, I really missed you... I didn't want you to go to your parents... I was shocked when you left. Please don't ever leave again!" I cry into his shoulder. "I promise I won't Char." I say while sobbing. We both kiss and walk out of the room holding hands and crying. I think I finally have my Charles back.
