Fighting

Chapter thirty-one
Kristen's POV: I wake up to someone yelling at someone else. I think it's Charles and Alli. I peek my head out of my door. "So you DID know she came over! I knew she lied!" "So? What's wrong with me knowing?! You were asleep so I didn't want to bother you!" I close my door not wanting to hear the rest. I run to my bed and start crying. I think they knew I was awake because the stopped fighting. I heard their bedroom door close and I heard a knock at my door. I opened it to find Anna and Chaz at my door. "Can we come in?" Anna asks me. I pick them both up and close my door with my foot. "You two ok?" They both nod and I lay them on my bed. "I'm sorry I got you in trouble." Chaz says hugging me. "It's ok, I still love you and Anna." We play with some of my old toys and I hear a knock at my door. "Come in." I say. Alli comes in and sits on my bed. "Can you two leave please?" They nod and she helps them off of the bed, "close the door!" She says as the run out of the room. "So... Did you hear that? Earlier?" I look down at my hands and don't answer. "Kristen? Did you?" I still look down, feeling tears drop from my face. I nod and start crying more. Alli leans over and hugs me but I push her away. "I'm sorry. You shouldn't have heard any of that." I finally look up at her and smile. "It's ok. Try not to do it again... Ok?" She smiles and I lean over and hug her. We let go and she smiles through tears. "How about you and I go to the mall to day and we stay out the whole day. Sound like a deal?" I nod and wipe my tears off my face. "I love you, and Charles." I hug her and I go to my bathroom to take a shower. She leaves the room as I grab my clothes to put on for the day.
Alli's POV: "Charles! Kristen and I are going out for the day!" "Who's taking the twins?" I cross my arms and stare at him. "You. Who else?" "Uh, you?" I shake my head and walk to my room. I'm so done with Charles. We haven't been getting along lately and the kids are noticing. I change for the day and wait for Kristen to come out of the bathroom. I sit on the couch and turn on the tv for a little bit. "Ok you two go say night to mommy before your nap." I hear Charles say as Anna and Chaz run out from the hall and come to me. "Night mommy." Anna and Chaz both say hugging me. They run off to their room after I kiss them. "Why are they taking a nap? It's too early?" I turned around to face Charles. He turns to look at me, "Anna said she was tired and so did Chaz. They said they are up late." I stand up and walk over to him. "They were probably listening to is fight the whole night, didn't you think about that?" He shakes his head and Kristen finally comes out of her room. "Ready!" She says grabbing her draw string bag. "Bye dad." Kristen says kissing Charles on his cheek. "Bye." He says as we leave the house. I let her sit up front and I start the car. "So mall, lunch and what about putt putt?" I ask while backing out of the garage. "Sounds good."
Kristen's POV: we drove for what felt like hours. Alli's phone kept buzzing over and over again. "Who's texting you?" I pick up her phone to look but she grabs it and puts it in her lap. "Your father." "What is he saying?" "I don't know and I won look until we get to the mall." I nod and we finally pull into the mall parking lot. "Ok hold on let me check the texts." She looks over the texts and rolls her eyes. "What?" I look over at her concerned. "Nothing." I try to look over at the texts but she already locked her phone. "Let's go." She says unlocking the doors. We both get out of the car and head into the mall. "I need to go to the bathroom." I say pointing to the sign that says 'restroom' she nods and I run into the bathroom.
I finish washing my hands and walk down the hallway to find Alli. I look to my right and see her talking on the phone. She looks like she is yelling because she is moving her hands around like when you are talking to people. I walk over to her and sure enough she is yelling. Just not loud but she seems mad. She looks over and smiles at me and keeps talking. I take my phone which I got back from them and I type, 'hurry up! We don have all day.' And I show her. She puts the phone to her chest and says, "actually we do." She talks on the phone again and I decided to listen. "Hold on! What are you even talking about?" She listens to the person on the other side. "Whatever bye." She hangs up and puts the phone in her purse. "Who was that." She looks at me with a face that reads you-should-already-know-the-answer. "Charles?" I ask and she nods. I sigh and we walk around the mall. I ended up buying some jean capris, new chucks, and a chevron sheer tank. We leave the last store and go to the mall food court. I think Alli turned off her phone because it was making so much noise when we were in converse. I pretended I didn't know her which isn't hard to do because we don't look alike. Charles keeps bugging her about who knows what and I can tell it's getting on her nerves. "What do you want for lunch?" She asks bringing me out of my thoughts. I shrug and we walk around until she stops at some pizza place and gets two pepperoni. I sit down at a table and wait for her. "Are you Kristen Trippy?" Some random girl walks up to me and asks. I sit up and nod, "CTFxC fan?" She nods and asks if I can sign her phone. She hands me a sharpie and I sign her phone. "Who did you come with? Is Charles and Alli here?" She asks as her eyes widen. I'm guessing Alli is behind me. Alli sits down next to me. "Hi. What's your name?" The girl is still in shock but finally says, "Rachel. I go to Kristen's school. Well her new one." "That's cool. Your a CTFxC fan?" She nods again. "So you will be in seventh grade?" She nods once more. "You can take a seat." Alli says pointing to the open chair. "Ok thanks." She sits down and Alli finishes her food. "So how do you know I'm going to your school?" "Well I saw you when my old school did that whole fifth grade tour before school ended and I walked some students around. I noticed you and kind of had a small heart attack." She laughs and when Alli finishes her food I get Rachel's number and we say our goodbyes. "See you soon." I say and we wave goodbye. "That was fun," Alli says, "it just lightens up my day when I meet fans." I nod in agreement and we leave the mall. We go to putt putt which was super fun. Alli beat me by 10 but we still had a ton of fun. After our fun day it was time to go home. "Alli, I had fun today." I say hugging her. "Me too. We didn't vlog any of it though." I laugh and we get in the car. "Will Charles be mad?" "Probably." She answers and we drive home.
