Catalina.

"Jimena!" Diana flung herself into my outstretched arms, her voice full of pain and anguish.

I felt her body sag, completely giving up on maintaining a brave front, so I had to use one arm to support her lithe frame and the other to carry her lone black suitcase.

She pulled herself together enough to make the walk through the very crowded part of the airport where there already was a swarm of paparazzi. She had her sunglasses on so they wouldn't see the redness of her eyes while I slipped my own pair on after I realized just how many of them they were.

We finally made it to the parking lot, evading a small group of them who were scoping the area for any signs of one of my cars but I luckily I didn't drive my own today, I was driving Cristiano's. I did not let her hand go as we walked briskly to the Mercedes, only dropping it briefly to lift her luggage into the trunk.

I pulled out of the parking lot in a manner that would put Vin Diesel to shame and hightailed out of there just as the photographers realized who was driving like a maniac.

"You know you will have to tell me sooner or later." I said quietly, fixing my eyes on the road ahead but I was having a hard time concentrating after what Irina had said,"You call me thirty minutes before your departure sounding like a complete mess? What is going on Diana?"

"Catalina he blindsided me," Diana responded with a thick voice.

"He was in Athens with you?" I glanced at her briefly,"Does he know you're in Spain now?"

"Yes, said he had business to conduct there, so he came along but I didn't tell him I was coming to Madrid afterwards so no he doesn't know I'm here." she said bitterly,"I should've known something was wrong. He was acting strange for weeks now, being all jumpy, not answering some of my questions and staying up late into the night on his phone."

"So what really happened?"

"I got a call from an unknown number." She managed the get out,"Some woman and I can't even remember her name properly. Was it Maryse? Whatever, it doesn't matter,"

"She started going on and on about Adam, about how they had a steady 'thing' going a couple months back and now she's pregnant, wants him to be present for the birth and to talk about working things out, in other words get back together." Diana said hysterically," I was so angry I almost cursed her out right then and there. I did not believe her at first Catalina. I couldn't. But then she started saying things that made me second guess him."

"What?" I asked as we stopped at the last red light.

"She described his body Catalina. Every. Intimate. Detail. This woman, who he supposedly doesn't know, started describing marks and lines and scars that besides himself, only me and God Almighty should know." Diana buried her face in her hands.

"Did he admit it?" I pressed on the gas as the light turned green.

"Not at first. He tried to lie his way out of it but you know Adam, he is a god awful liar. Finally got it out of him after some proding, says he doesn't remember sleeping with her but he does remember partying with her and some of their mutual friends."

"That's suspicious," I said skeptically,"How can he not remember?"

"Phillipe said he vaguely remembers her and that he was sure Adam was pretty wasted that night so anything could've happened."

"I can't believe he lied to you,"

"Me neither," Diana croaked," I know I'm not the most compassionate person but you guys know you can come to me with anything especially him because I love him. I love him Catalina and he just lied to my face."
