Catalina

"What do you want for lunch," I asked Cristiano.

I returned to Spain a week ago and most of my time was spent moving into Cris' house in Madrid. I never really realised how much stuff I had in that summer home until I had to pack all of it into boxes and move it. There were literally boxes everywhere in this house, I almost couldn't find Lucky on the first moving day and he wasn't too pleased when I finally found him behind a couple of bigger boxes in the basement, he wouldn't look in my direction for two days and he was way nicer to Cris

Cris and Izzy's new husband Matias, had to do most of the heavy lifting while me and Izzy took care of the lighter stuff. All of my clothes were here already, some of the furniture were here too and I decided to give away the rest to charity, so all that was really left now was to move my cars here into the newly extended garage which now has to hold a whopping total of eleven cars combined.

"I don't know, I know anything you cook would be good enough," He replied not looking away from the movie we were watching.

I never knew The Hunger Games could catch someone's atttention like this. I swear once he's focused on something it's hard to get his attention.

I got up and stretched and he took it as an opportunity to slap my butt. He wad smirking and had still not looked away from the television. Just as I was starting the cut up the vegetables the doorbell rang.

"Come in it's open," Cristiano shouted.

Marcelo, Sergio and Fabio barged into the house, all smiles. Marcelo and Cristiano did this weird guy handshake thing. Fabio waved, then flopped down on the couch and he too was drawn into the ending part of the movie.

After greeting me and Cristiano, Sergio was going to sit but was bombarded by Lucky, who had taken a liking to him, for what reason I do not know, maybe its the tattoos. Laughing, Sergio scooped him up and began to play with him.

Marcelo came into the kitchen and gave me a kiss on the cheek and a hug before retreating to the couch to join the others.

"When are you going for your cars Lina?" Cris asked calling from the living room into the kitchen after a while.

"Today I should think, why don't you guys go and get them now and by time you come back lunch would be finished."

"How many cars do you have Catalina?" Sergio asked still playing with Lucky. Marcelo and Fabio were now locked in a serious game of Call of Duty, shooting everything in sight and cursing each other down. I really didn't appreciate them using my controllers, they should have used Cristiano's, I have to admit, I am a serious gamer.

"Three Sergi, An Audi r8, A dodge Charger and a Ferrari"

"So cool," Fabio shouted,"I've always wanted a Ferrari,"

"Nobody trusts you with a car in the first place, the only reason they gave you that Audi was because you're a part of the team," Sergio retorted.

Fabio flipped him off and he responded by doing the same. Cris laughed before heading upstairs. Pulling a shirt over his head, he emerged two minutes later. The boys stopped their game and went excitedly behind him, making me a little worried about my cars.

"Don't let Fabio drive any of my Ferrari," I quickly blurted out before they were out the door.

"Aw why not?" Fabio pouted.

"Yeah I thought your Dodge was your baby, not the 458," Marcelo asked

"Yes it is, but the Ferarri costs more damn it, just don't let him drive it," I cheeked.

"Mannnn, that's so unfair," Fabio whined.

I gave him a look and he threw his hands up in defeat

They all laughed and headed out the door. I continued on cooking, shaking my head at those big kid-like idiots, then losing myself entirely in the kitchen. Chefs are artists, so why would I want to paint what someone else already painted. The fried rice was finished in half an hour and I had just took the chicken out of the fridge to grill when I heard a loud commotion outside. I turned the fire off and rushed outside, anticipating the worse.

Instead I was greeted with Fabio, a newly arrived Luka and Marcelo wrestling in the driveway. Sergio was videotaping the whole thing and Cristiano just stood there bent over in laughter. My cars were safely in their designated places so at least that was covered and I didn't have to hurt anybody as yet

"What the hell is going on," I shouted, drowning their voices out. They immediately stopped fighting and it was like if they were caught in suspened animation.

Marcelo and Luka were sitting on Fabio, the former had him by the neck, the latter by the legs. Sergio burst out laughing and held on to Tiano for support.

"Well they didn't let me drive any of her cars," Fabio pouted, while his face was slowly turning red.

"That's because you almost crashed my car on the way there," Cristiano said still recovering from laughing.

"I didn't drive that badly," Fabio retorted.

"You didn't? Because I remembered you wern't looking at the road for a quite a bit of time," Sergio spoke up, Marcelo nodded in agreement.

"Thank you guys for saving my car from him," I cheeked. Fabio stuck his tongue out at me, Cris hit him upside his head playfully. I shook my head returning to the house and finished off the rest of the meal. The guys had set up the table outside so we could eat there. When I brought out the dishes they were gone from my hands in a flash.

"Well I can see you guys aren't hungry," I joked sitting down in my chair.

"Honestly we're starving," Marcelo said passing a bowl to me.

"That's why we came here you know, because even though you complain, you can't bear to see us hungry," Sergio said while filling his plate. I sighed and just smiled to myself. I looked across the table and Cristiano was looking at me knowingly and smirking. I raised my eyebrow and he shook his head.

"This tastes wonderful, never tasted anything like it before." Luka said already halfway through his plate.

"Thank you Luk, always a pleasure." I replied.

"It tastes straight Brazilian, nothing like the bland food you get here," Marcelo said.

"Hey, don't diss Spain dude, you know we're the best in everything," Sergio retorted.

"We all know that the Portuguese do it better than anyone else," Fabio offered and got a high five from Cris in return.

"As of now the Brazilians are the better looking people at this table so we win." I replied earning a laugh from Luka and Sergio.

"Yeah right." Luka said rolling his eyes.

"Yeah you could pass Lina but Marcelo is just waying you down in that factor," Sergio laughed.
