Cristiano.

"Cris come look!" Catalina's sultry voice called to me from her office.

"What is it babe?" I sat down in the swivel chair facing the laptop. She slid into my lap and laced an arm languidly around my neck.

"Victor and his friend are finished compiling our wedding album!" She squealed delightedly,"I didn't want to go through it without you."

The album was arranged in such a way that it told a story. Not only were there exquisite shots of us and our friends and family but there were a few random pictures that lent to the overall creativity and nostalgia of compilation. A picture of the lace on Catalina's dress, the cufflinks of my suit, the flowers in the garden of the church yard, rice and confetti falling overhead, the sunset over Sao Paulo, the doors that led to the reception area were some of the more sentimental ones.

"This is a beautiful picture," I remarked as we came across a family picture. Catalina and I were seated on the grass by the river bank with our children all about us, smiles took over all of our faces,  illuminated further by the breathtaking sunset.

"We should get it blown up and framed." She suggested.

"That would be nice," I ran my thumb over her hip.

"I can get it done during my break tomorrow." She offered, playing with the silver chain around my neck.

"Great," I smiled," Since we're on the subject of work, have you made your decision?"

"I talked it over with the director and the secretary general." She hesitated a bit.

"And?"

"I was worried at first," Catalina admitted, resting her head in the crook of my neck,"But we worked out a system where I wouldn't have to travel much."

"That sounds wonderful but I can just feel the downside coming," I squeezed her arm playfully.

"I might have to cut back on how much work I do at the hospital." She sounded very drained at the very thought.

"Is that what you want?" I held her at arm's length to gaze at her expression.

"I don't know," she buried her head in my shirt,"That hospital is so dear to me."

"I could personally treat the patients with rare cases and I could focus more on my research," she continued, clutching the black fabric between her slender fingers,"But I would feel a bit empty if I cannot work in the emergency ward anymore."

"You'll make the right decision, you always do," I kissed the top of her head.

"Thank you for being so understanding," she kissed my neck lightly.

"You've always been here for me, it's the least I can do," I kissed her temple, rubbing my hands up and down her side. Her breath hitched and she looked up at me with playful, challenging eyes.

My lips found her hungry ones. Fighting for dominance, her lush body pressed against mine, I finally won and slipped my tongue into her warm mouth. She moaned in satisfaction and brought her hands up to play with my hair.

"The bedroom?" I breathed into her neck.

"I thought you would've never asked." She smirked.

"So Dr Hernandez, have you made your decision?" I watched on from behind the counter as Catalina conducted a video conference with the Director and Secretary General.

"I have sir," she nodded.

"And?"

"I accept the offer."
