One month later.
Catalina.
"I'm officially in love with Milan," Diana said, shopping bags swinging from her arms as we walked through the crowded square,"No wonder Delia is always here in the summer."
"I love the overflowing of art and culture. I could definitely live peacefully here you know. I could sit for days and study the different paintings and sculptures, get better at my own craft. Junior would you like to live here?" I asked as he followed on one of the patterns on the sidewalk.
"Maybe...it looks nice." He looked up for a brief moment with a charming little smile.
"I'll consider getting a vacation house here then," I ruffled his dark hair and continued to push the babies' stroller along.
The sun wasn't too hot to be uncomfortable but nonetheless all of us were decked out in our ballcaps and sunglasses. Diana had on a cute, airy looking dress that seemed to shimmer in the sunlight, Izzy wore a navy blue cropped tank top and white flowy pants while I settled for a cool, white turtleneck and beige shorts with comfortable sandals.
"How far are we from Delia's new restaurant?" Izzy asked as we crossed the busy Corso Magenta.
"Not too far, it's just a block away now," I spoke up
"Are they seriously following us?" Diana nodded towards the woman with the camera pointed at us, who then alerted everyone around her, causing quite the stir.
"Just ignore them," I tighted my grips on the stroller and Junior's hand. I peered over my glasses and saw another group of them lurking right across the road from Adelia's restaurant, even though the grand opening was two days ago.
"So Izzy, how is Madrid?" Diana asked.
"It's very nice so far. Our new home is in a good neighbourhood and it's quite but that's strange considering Catalina is my neighbour. But luckily Antoine Griezmann is too." Izzy laughed, "Matias absolutely loves his new job and I get to be there for Catalina and the kids. It's wonderful although I do miss living by the sea."
"Maybe I should move there too?" Diana chuckled.
"Noooo...I can't stand your and Cris' bickering as it is," I joked.
"Haha very funny," Diana pushed open the door to the restaurant,"No matter,I'll just move to Italy with Victor and Adelia, they'll love having me with them."
"You'll do what with Victor and Adelia?" Adelia asked as she greeted us right at the entrance.
"Move to Milan," Diana repsonded, taking in the spacious room with enthusiasm.
"This place is beautiful," Izabella commented in an awestruck voice,"The carpeting and furnishings are exquisite."
"Thank you, I actually decorated it myself." Adelia gestured for us to follow her amidst the steady flow of waiters and patrons.
"You have developed quite the eye for balance," I murmured as I examined the detailed tapestry on the wall,"Where is this from?"
"I imported it from Chiang Mai five months ago. Come come, I already have a table in the private dining area set up for us."
She lead us through an even more exquisitely decorated hall and up a hidden mahogany stairway to a sprawling terrace that was covered by a stained glass roof and overrun with beautiful flowers and intricately wound vines.
Only a handful of people were up here at the moment and while some of them stared at us out of curiousity, most were too engaged in their own conversations to even care.
