"Seriously the bathroom? That's your excuse," Kristina crossed her arms over her chest. "You are not leaving until you three fix the damage you've done. I will not deal with you three arguing all the time. You are new here and need to learn your place Malia. I don't know who the hell you think you are but you sure are turning into an asshole, I don't like assholes."
"She's right I don't want to deal with awkward lunch time when it should be full of fun and not strain. I don't do strain it gives me wrinkles and causes me to lash out at unsuspected people. And Kristina is right you do need to learn your place, however she is wrong on putting this on just you three. Any one of us knew that this was going to turn to shit the second it started, excuse my language. Malia didn't realize that Aiden and Mason have," she looked down at her lap before looking up again, "things they need to deal with. Therefore she didn't think treating them the way she treated them last period would make, excuse my language but, make shit hit the ceiling. Therefore you three call a truce. Because while she was trying to calm down Aiden spat at her making her recoil an almost burnt out fire. Mason spat a lot at her and her only defense is building up the wall of sarcasm just like any of us." She let out a long breath as my heart began pounding and my heart was racing. "Leaving would have been the worst thing you could have done, I'm glad she said no. We want to be your friends but as you said we only know what your brother has told us. In order to be our friends you have to answer one question with the long list of details, deal?"
I cleared my throat and started playing with my fingers. I didn't really want to start over with friends, especially since they immediately picked me to be there friend. "Okay what's the question," I barley said over a whisper.
"Seriously okay make the question good Alyssa this is probably your only shot," I could hear the surprise in my brothers voice. I still didn't look up since I knew I probably caused a lot of hateful looks.
"Why did you look so scared when I grabbed your wrist?" I closed my eyes trying to suppress that memory. Masons words were less cut throat and more curious then before.
"That's the question, now answer it and be welcomed with warm arms or leave. I'm sorry if that's a hard one to answer," Alyssa rubbed my arm up and down. I looked up at Mathew whose face immediately turned into pity.
"I don't want one once of pity," I said in a much stronger voice then I thought I could handle. I was mainly staring at Mathew and some people caught on.
"No pity," Mathew agreed along with everyone else. I grabbed my wrist and let the flash back hit me as I spoke.
"It's stupid really, I was stupid and so was Mathew," I heard him scoff which made me smile. "I had a boyfriend two schools ago, which was eight months ago. Him and Mathew were close and always came over so we got along and ya. He stopped being so nice and shit hit the fan," I looked up and they were just staring at me.
"I said details missy," Alyssa give me a stern look which made me laugh only a little.
"Alright fine. I met him at a football game and it was raining and he gave me his jacket so naturally I fell for the idiot. Once we started dating it was cute with the dinners and all that good crap. Then we went to a party and I wore pants and long sleeves since I didn't want to freeze to death. He got drunk and I got buzzed but that was it," I looked up at Mathew who showed me he didn't care. "He got handsy and it pissed me off so I told him off and he dragged me into a room, which I thought was to argue. He shoved me against the door and I kind of kicked him in the jeweles, I was buzzed and didn't know what else to do. He got pissed like really mad. He grabbed my arm and pushed me back into the wall so hard I felt blood start to drip down my neck by the forth shove. I blacked out and woke up at home where he was smiling and gave me my favorite breakfast. I forgave him and in two weeks he got mad over losing a hockey game, and I got scared. One of his teammates saw it and asked me if I was fine, just him touching my arm made me yank away. My ex came up and fought him over him touching my arm. We were driving back to my house when he stopped the car in the middle of nowhere and I refused to get out. He opened the car door and grabbed my wrist. I wasn't unseatbelted so I wasn't going anywhere. He got so frustrated and mad he twisted my wrist and snapped it in three places. He grabbed a beer bottle I didn't know he had and threw at me. And that is the kind of crap he would do to me about every two weeks, until he found out I was moving in four days. Then it was every time I left my house, which obviously Mathew saw the day we were moving. My ex grabbed an old trophy and went to hit me in the back of the head, except Mathew tackled him to the ground. They got in a fight and Mathew sorta won. When my ex got up he apologized and went to leave when he turned around and threw a beet bottle at me. I don't like it when people grab my wrist because it was a game to him. He would grab my wrist and ask me if what happened to me that night if he wanted him to do that again. I, being me, gave him a smart ass comment once and only once and he did do it again. Not that our parents gave a shit," I blew out the last part but of course Alyssa caught it.
