About two hours, 4 bottles of wine, and a case of beer later, my parents were hammered.
"You two, oh how we hate you! You destroyed our life!" My mother yelled while grabbed the wine bottle and pressing it to her mouth.
"You were never supposed to be born! I never wanted a girl! I just wanted a son," my father's eyes lit up as he looked at Mathew.
"I bet your some whore now," my mother scuffed and turned away from me.
"Son your mother loves you she's just overwhelmed with hatred for that one," my dad lifted his finger at me while keeping his eyes on my brother. Mason and Shay shifted uncomfortably not knowing exactly what to do.
"Anyways who are these two," my mother looked at them with a displeased face.
"This is Mason and Shay," I pointed over at both of them before leaning back into the soft couch.
"Oh well I never took Mathew as the boyfriend type," my father finished his beer before glaring at me. "Go get me another one!"
"You drank the entire case, we don't have anymore," I rolled my eyes.
"Drop the attitude," my mother swayed and stood up in front of me.
"Mom she's just telling the truth," Mathew leaned forward and rested his elbows on his knees. Shay reached out and imminently started rubbing his back.
"Your father lied, I hate both of you," my mother glared back at Mathew.
"Stop it Nancy, we came here to tell them one thing," my father slurred.
"We're getting a divorce, because of you two," my mother spat heavily at us.
"Because of us?" I raised my eyebrow.
"Yes you ungrateful whore! You don't deserve parents like us," my mother looked between Mathew and I.
"No matter we just thought to tell you before you found out on newspaper," my father fell unto the couch.
"Okay," my parents divorce wasn't really going to change anything.
"Are you staying the night or leaving?" My brother glared at me since I didn't show manners.
"Our car is waiting for us, we don't want to stay with you," my father literally tried spitting at me.
"Okay thanks for telling us," I smiled sweetly.
"I said drop the attitude," my mother was towering over my sitting body. I just stared up at her, today was a long day already and it was only nine thirty in the morning.
"Your car is waiting so you can get away from your horrible kids," I smiled a tired smile.
"Oh we are leaving," mother grabbed father and yanked him up.
"Goodbye," I called out as they slammed the door shut.
"Well I never expected that to happen," Mathew stood up and stretched.
"Ya, I figured they wouldn't want to be in the news," I could barley keep my eyes open. Mason put his arm around my shoulder and pushed me into his body.
"Oh and Shay isn't pregnant it was a false alarm," Mathew smiled and Shay's eyes were trained on me. Mathew's smile didn't reach his eyes causing a frown to become etched on my face.
"You guys okay?" My frown deepened as Mathew dropped his smile and Shay's eyes hit the floor.
"Ya I mean it's for the best right?" Shay looked up at Mathew.
