Chapter 16: Complicated

Lunch was amazing, Jason and Char got along perfectly with everyone else. Natalie threw a huge fit about the party but with everyone's glare she left to sit with Chloe. We were now in physiology where there were no more new students. Apparently there school didn't have this so no kids were added. 

I sat in my seat next to Mason, across from Mathew, diagnol from Aiden. They were all taking about the girls, I think, I wasn't paying attention. I didn't care what they were talking about, I was just overwhelmed. So many of the girls were friends with Chloe or with other popular groups. A lot of the guys were so rude and bullied so many of the girls. The girls included the popular's and the geek's and the nerd's. I guess I was mad at Mathew too, he left me alone the entire weekend. 

I heard my name but it didn't sound like the teacher so I ignored it. I already finished the poster which means I wouldn't have to work for another week. 

"Malia," Mason used his two fingers to push my head to look at him. My face went all weird feeling. 

"What?" I jerked my head and rested it on my hand.

"Were you even listening to me," Aiden raises his eyebrow.

"No, I figured you were talking about girls," I lifted my head to see Mathew.

"We were than we were talking about you, Alyssa, and Kristina," Aiden answered. I turned to look at Mason who looked a little offended. I saw his hand resting on his leg while his other was moving around his pencil between fingers.

"Okay, then you said my name to get my attention. What?" I looked between all three boys.

"Well Aiden and Mason are trying to ask a girl out and don't know how. I on the other hand on the other hand, along with Tony, are sticking to one night stands. There are way to many new girls," I wanted to punch my brother. Instead I kicked him as hard as I could under the chair. "What the hell Malia!" My heart nearly shattered, of course Mason was going to ask someone out! Why wouldn't he, it's not like he said he wasn't boyfriend material.

"You disgust me sometimes," I turned my head and saw there was an empty chair where Alyssa and Jordan normally sit. "I'll help either one of you on asking a girl out next period," I stood up and went to the seat across from Kristina. 

"Hey what are you doing here? And why is your entire table staring at you?" Nick stopped making out with Kristina.

"Sorry I just don't want to hear about my brothers one night stands," I smiled.

"Oh ya I totally agree, math is the worst," Kristina rolled her eyes. 

I turned to see Mathew next to me, "I'm sorry. I just don't get or do the whole lovey dovey crap. I mean how do you know when to change? God if Aiden found a girl and Mason, I guess I could get one. I just don't know whose right and now there's more girls than ever. You know what I'm saying? It's complicated I guess," Mathew rubbed the back of his neck.

"It's when you can't stop thinking about the girl, it's when you are so happy when she's happy. You feel her emotion and want her to always be happy," Nick answered rewarding him with a kiss on the cheek from Kristina. 

"Ya your whipped," Mathew turned to me.

"You use them as a toy and I get the nasty aftermath of it all. Look just don't tell me or talk about it around me. I would like to think your innocent," the look on his face made me want to leave the school.

"Your family," was all he said before getting up and leaving.

"I'm going to try really hard to not walk out of this class. Changing the subject, what's up?" I smiled.
