"Let's go dance," Mason opened his eyes so I could see the swirl of grey and green.
"Okay," I got off of his lap and I helped him up.
"No dirty dancing, just dancing," he gave me a stern look.
"Oh I only know dirty dancing, sorry," I took his hand and led him to the dancing area.
"Where is innocent Malia?" I heard Mason ask.
"She's right here. I just want to have fun tonight," I look down at my pumps and his shoes. I felt his fingers go under my chin and lift it up until I was met with his eyes.
"I was kidding Malia, you are extremely innocent even at a party. I mean you got drunk and made me sober you up in the first hour of the party. You don't want to get drunk and you were damn sexy during the game of truth or dare. Trust me Malia you are still the same girl, but right now you actually seem happy," he smiled and I melted.
"Awwwww, you are so sweet," I hugged him and he laughed.
"This is proof," he laughed and I hit his chest.
"I get it, I am still my beautiful innocent self," I smiled.
"Can we go back to the original plan of everyone sleeping over at your house? I'm sober and can drive the van. I don't want to deal with Jordan's clean up crew," Mason rolled his eyes. He was still holding me as we swayed to the song. My arms were wrapped right above his but. His hands were at the small of my back and I snuggled closer to him. He rested his chin on top of my head and I smiled.
"Ya is that it? Are you using me just to go to my house?" I giggled, although it would make sense.
"No I just need to get out of here before I do something I'm going to regret," he sighed.
"Like what, sleep with another girl?" I frowned, but he couldn't see it.
"No definitely not that. I am hanging out with you Malia and you still think I'll leave you for another girl?" He laughed and it made my frown turn upside down. I love the way his laugh made me smile, and the way it can fill up a room.
"I'm sorry," I smiled as he rested his chin on my head again.
"Don't be sorry princess, it's cute. I meant that I don't want you and I to tease each other to much to where we get to caught up to stop. I don't wanna do that to you."
"Mason I can stop us, you suck at teasing," we both laughed.
"You wanna start that?" He pulled me away and I nodded my head. "All bets off, anywhere anytime?"
"Not in front of family then yes," I smiled at him.
"Malia I actually think your pretty cool which is why I have to remind you. I made that stupid bet with the boys about who could sleep with the new girl first, which ended up being you. So if someone uses that against me please remember it was before all of this," the concern in his eyes made me do a small smile.
"Even if you didn't tell me I would wait for you to explain to me first," I kissed his cheek.
"Thanks princess, now game on," I laughed.
"Game on baby cakes," I smirked as he rolled his eyes.
He pulled me close again but to his side as we went back to the living room.
"What are we doing here?" I looked up at him.
He looked down at me and smirked, he leaned down and his lemon and honey smell engulfed me. His breath smelt like a crap ton of mints, which I didn't mind.
