Mason dropped me off at my house and gave me a kiss. His mom, dad, and little brother were coming home tomorrow and he wanted to be there. His eyes were lit up with excitement every times he said his little brothers name. I was standing at the door watching as he pulled out of the driveway and I smiled.

"Hey sis," Mathew smiled at me from the doorway when I turned away.

"Hey bro," I laughed and we went inside.

"So how are you?" I knew what he was talking about but I didn't want to talk about it.

"I'm fine, Matt," I walked into the kitchen.

"Want something to eat?" Shay was already pouring herself some cereal.

"Ya whatever your having please," I smiled at her. "Oh dude we need to go to the store and buy you clothes unless your mom will let you take some."

"Ya we need to go shopping, my mom and dad texted me saying they sold everything. There moving and hope that the baby and I die," she grabbed another bowel.

"I'm sorry Shay," I frowned as I took a seat.

"Don't worry about it, I have my family here. Family supports and loves you for who you are," she smiled and pecked Mathews's lips.

"Do you want to go to school tomorrow? You don't have to it's totally fine," Mathew looked at me.

"Mathew it's been a year I'm fine," god knows I wasn't going to sleep. Maybe that's why I haven't slept lately, because my conscious knew what this week was.

"A year from what?" Shay looked between us. "Never mind I'm here and a great listener."

"Mathew will end up telling you, don't worry," I gave her a smile.

"Okay," she handed me a bowel of fruit loops.

"Thanks," I began stuffing the food into my mouth.

"What do you want to do?" Shay looked between Mathew and I.

"I want to go to sleep," I smiled.

"Honestly so do I," Mathew looked at Shay.

"Sounds good to me it's not like it's only seven thirty or anything," she shrugged.

I stood up and washed out my dish, "goodnight." I kissed Mathew's cheek and hugged Shay.

"You can come wake me up and we can play video games if you can't sleep," he smiled.

"Thanks big bro," I smiled and went up the stairs. We did that for six months and we grew hella closer from that.

I went over and crawled into my blanket and stuck in my headphones. I couldn't think about anything as long as my music was blasting. Each song made my eyes heavier and heavier until they finally closed.

His face flashed through my eyes and I sat up ready for anything. I looked around my room and saw that I was drenched in sweat. I checked the time and saw it was only ten o'clock, two hours of sleep was pretty good. I took a shower and put on Mason's hoodie and some sweats.

I walked down the hallways and opened Mathew's door slowly. I saw Shay's blond hair wrapped up in a blanket before I saw Mathew awake staring at the ceiling.

"BB," I whispered and he ignored me. I walked into his room careful to miss all of the creaks that were stuck in the floor boards. "Mathew," I touched his arm and he turned.

"Hey you good?" He was totally zoned out.

"Shhh Shay's asleep. Video games?" I winked at him and he jumped out of bed. Shay moved around a bit and we just stood as still as we could until she stopped moving.
