The day I let her go with that guy whose name was Admond I was missing her, God knows why but I was seeing this dreams in which I saw her, talked to her and even kissed her when she was going to protest against me, it was like my wolf was contacting her in his own ways so I gave full control to Adrian and went to her. She was looking so beautiful sitting in the window but the moment she saw me she went inside and closed the window as she is afraid of me which pained me a lot. Next day I went to Admond's office where I came to know that she is not there so I contacted my Delta Daniel to find her and follow her to see her each and every move cause now when I have found my mate I can't sit peacefully knowing that there is a lot of danger out there in the world of which she is unknown.
Delta came running to me and showed me the pictures of her and said "Sorry Alpha, because they saw me while taking pictures so I ran from there" I sighed cause I can't say anything to him. I was so shocked cause did I made it that obvious and secondly I didn't tell him anything so how was he able to know and I think he sensed my confusion and shock so he said "I can see the way you were looking at the picture and I sensed this motherly aura around her which I used to sense in my motherrrrr" he trailed the last word with sadness and tears in his eyes which clenched my heart and then he said" alpha will you let me be with her when she comes here?" I went to him and gave him a fatherly hug to which he responded with tears cause I know he miss his parents and told him that he will be the only one to be her personal bodyguard when I'm not there to which he raised me in air and twirl me saying "yes, yes, yes."
When he went outside of my office leaving me alone with the pictures I took them in my hand and sat on my chair for hours admiring her smile, her sparkling eyes, her curves. God I need to see her right now and moved from my chair not before looking at the time it was almost 10:30 pm which was perfect cause it was her bed time so I ran at full speed. When I reached there I found that she was waiting for me cause when I came in to her view she has that expression of waiting and happiness. I sat there and looked at her trying to love her from distance, thinking of how would it feel to have her in my arms, how would she taste when I kiss her? But I was brought to the real world by the noise of a twig breaking which told me that she was approaching me step by step as if making sense that she is doing ok or not and at the same time I realised that my wolf was happy as her mate is approaching her but scared at the same time cause my wolf wanted to mark her than and there which I didn't want cause it might scare her and she doesn't know about me so before anything else happens I ran from there leaving her there and came back in to my room. I changed and flopped on the bed and thinking why did I behave like that? Why did I ran? I have bedded so many girls so I am a professional then why I reacted like that to which Adrian growled and roared at me and said "She is our mate not any useless girl who warm your bed temporarily" which told me that he was angry at my decision of running from there, I didn't say anything in return.
Adrian POV
God how can he do that to me she was so close, I was able to smell her sweet and toxic scent and I was waiting for her to touch me but this dumb-ass ruined it for me.
The day I saw her in that party I wanted her to mark her right then and there but I controlled myself. She was looking so cute in that drunk state but I hated when she was surrounded by other males in the party especially when that guy Admond was resting his hands on her shoulder, I wanted to rip his hands and stuff in his ass but now I can't cause he is close to Evaline. "Evaline" this name is so addicting that I can't get enough of her.
When I close my eyes I can see her laughing, smiling and playing with me and I was loving it. While I was in my dream, Xander was bedding that bitch whom his father has chosen even after knowing that he has a mate. I argued with him mentally asking for the reason behind his actions but he was grunting and panting from the thrust he was giving to that bitch but one word"Evaline" and my confusion was cleared and I was happy cause it was Evaline he was thinking of while doing it and not that bitch's name.
Xander POV
In the morning when I woke up I regretted the whole night thing cause I was so drunken that I thought I was making love with my "Evaline" but when I saw her face whole thing came crashing down making me feel guilty so I did one thing which I should do I woke her up and wrapped her in the bed sheet and kicked her out of my room and backed myself against the door and at the very same time my wolf Adrian has to pop up fucking great. "now you're guilty. Ha ha ha" he taunted me so I blocked him and went to freshen up. The moment I came down everything was quiet, as quiet as it becomes when the storm is coming.
