Chapter 35

Xander's POV

The thing of which I was afraid of happened and I tried to avoid it but still it happened. I want to break some bones or something right now and in the same moment Caleb came running cursing after Beatrice went out which broke all my restrains I scattered the things of the desk on the floor then threw my desk in the nearest wall crushing it in to chunks. I was going to toss the couch as well but Caleb blocked me and said "you are the most patient man I have ever seen. Calm down brother, you are dangerous than the thunderstorm right now. What got you so worked up?" he doesn't know anything what tornado has gone through my office, my life. I calmed myself then I told him everything.

Flashback

After my passionate session my mood was on cloud nine which was immediately ruined when I saw Beatrice in my office standing near the window mere my chair was gazing at the morning chaos which happened on the road. I moved towards the desk without giving her any kind of reaction and saw a purple file on it which caught my attention because I don't have any file which is purple, either they are black or brown so I opened it. It was like someone snatched the floor underneath me, there were pictures of Evaline and her family with some picture of mine and Evaline together and the information on them.

Beatrice said while turning "I didn't find anything interesting on this girl except that she has been bullied in her school times and she is fat. So I want to know why you were running behind her, kissing here or you can say avoiding me. "

I was a strong man that too an alpha male who has strong control over his behavior and emotions so without giving her the reaction which would satisfy her I laughed, I literally laughed. Well I laughed a little on myself too for underestimating this whore who was standing in front of me like I own her something or she is the mighty princess of some place and said "You actually went through all the hard work for this? I mean look at, you got jealous because of her O come on Bee, she is nothing compared to you." Which made her relaxed a little but deep down I knew that Evaline was nothing like sarcastic, attention seeker, good for nothing bitch which Beatrice was but then she said "then why did you kiss her in front of me?" to which I replied calmly "cause she has been denied the attention by others, so I made her think that she is beautiful by kissing her that's it and you are making a big scene out of it and you know I belong to you and i also want some fun Babe before we marry, i'm a man with needs".

Beatrice sighed and said "you know if I would have seen any threat in her in any manner that is related to you I would have already taken care of her." And before I could ask any further regarding her plans of taking care suddenly there was a knock on the door and Evaline entered, cursing myself inside and regretting cause I told Lexi to stop her from coming. She came cautiously as if she knew that Beatrice was already here and before I could say her something so that she leaves fast Beatrice beats me by insulting her but my sweet angel was looking at me and it was killing me cause I would not be able to defend her right now cause I don't want Beatrice to get any hint that Evaline is important to me, hell she is my life, my other half, my mate Adrian growled too. I kept my eyes on the file and asked in a harsh tone which was killing me inside "What are you doing here?"

She was going to answer me but the Beatrice bitch interrupted "Xander you have given a lot of freedom to your employees and you are not keeping up the standard of your employees. Look at her she look like she is about to explode anytime and those legs look like elephant's leg. She didn't even ask for your permission, just knocked and entered. Hell yesterday she didn't even knocked when we were busy if you know what I mean? And then she put up a show in front of me by kissing you like a slut she is." Which sent a sharp pain in my heart, it lead to a shaky breath and Adrian was clawing me inside to take over to kill this bitch but I sat still like a steel statue not responding which made Evaline hurt cause the thing she said made me cringed at myself "for your information Miss, yesterday I did knock" and turned towards me and said "sorry for behaving like a slut I'm, it won't happen again Sir" emphasizing on 'Sir' cause she knew I don't like her to call me 'Sir' which let me know I messed up big time and this time it is not going to be easy one and now she is seriously going to behave like a professional she is during work. Without turning once she left and I was barely able to hold myself from not running behind her to stop and let her know that this is not true but I couldn't. all the while Beatrice was ratting herself only god know about what cause whole time I kept looking at the screen in front of myself on which she was displayed.

I kept looking at her, how beautiful she looked and how hurt she was then she gets a call after that she had a determined look on her face that told me she was on to something. Then Beatrice stood up and said "now that I have seen what I wanted to see so my work here is finished." and with that she was out of my office.

End of flashback.

Caleb was silent for sometime which I didn't care cause in my mind I was making plans cheer up Evaline and make her understand. Caleb just patted my back and told me to come out for some fresh air and while we were crossing the lobby I heard Evaline and Lexi talking in which said that she had a date tomorrow evening and she is so excited for that.

What? Date???

She has a date tomorrow. No I'm not letting her to go on a date with some other guy other than me.

"No, you are not going to go anywhere with anyone"

Evaline: "O I'm going everywhere and with anybody I want Sir, I didn't ask for your opinion neither your permission as to whom I should date or whom I shouldn't Sir. So please back off from my personal space just like I did few hours before." With that she said her farewell to Caleb and Lexi and took off toward the Exit so I roared "you will be fired Evaline if you even think about it" to which she replied "I don't work for you Sir but for Mr. Admond Hugh so your threat is useless on Me." With that she left the building and I was like a mad man on a loose and before I could kill someone Caleb took me to the Gym to sweat out my anger, frustration.

While I was Working out Caleb suggested that we can also go out at same place and same time as her and we can you know ruin her date and I can then apologies and make up to her. I liked this idea or you can say that I loved this idea to be precise.

Wait and watch Evaline my love I'm going to make you mine tomorrow.
