Evy POV

I was sitting in the park and l was clearing my mind but I think today its not going to happen cause the person sitting next to me was continuously irritating me with his awful comment. Saying me bad and harsh words about my appearance than telling me to have a night with him if I'm desperate which blew my mind cause it made me realise that's what Mr. Summers have thought that I was trying to flirt in the office, he thought that I have a loose character and I was so angry that who is he to judge my character and to talk to me like this so I got up and was about to leave when that person caught my wrist and tried to touch me then I let my emotions flow towards him, I was feeling adrenaline flowing in my body that I yanked my hand from his hold and punched in his stomach while saying

"because of you people" kick punch "girls like us are so" kick kick punch "insecured that if we" punch punch "want to do something we can't" I made him fall on the ground and sat on him then punch on his face "who are you?" punch "to judge us, comment us about our size." Punch. It was people who saved that guy from me otherwise I would have killed him, and with that I went to my home to call it a day.

Xander POV

When she left her office I followed her she was on her phone talking to someone I don't know but what caught my attention was that she told that person that she was busy and will be late so I followed her just to check where is she going that she made such an excuse when she is free. She took her car down the lane but then took a u turn towards the hill and I kept on following her, she reached a park about which I don't even know but the moment I entered the park while following her I was stunned cause it was so beautiful not much people were there I think only few people knew about it she sat on a bench and started taking long and deep breath but was interrupted by the person, he was saying bad stuff to her thanks to my werewolf hearing I was able to hear otherwise it was impossible at this distance. Those words were boiling my blood and then he crossed my limits when he caught her wrist I was about to move from my spot but stopped cause the scene which was in front of me not only made me happy it made me proud and made me realised that my mate was one hell strong woman and I was thankful to Moon goddess for that, but at the same time it made me scared cause the words which she was using and the punch and kick she was giving to the person were meant for me as if she is thinking of me while doing it. Each and every word were hurting me hundred times cause it was my mate who thought that about me

God this is so fucking messed up situation, normally it was the women who used to follow me and pursue me but now the tables have turned around as it is now me chasing her my sweet, cute and chubby mate. Immediately Adrian said "and I love her very much" to which I said "me too"

Adrian: "how can you say that cause you have been fucking other bitch even after knowing about your mate. You have not even told anybody about her except Caleb" I felt that guilt cause he was right

Me: "I know that I have made a mistake but not anymore and as far as telling about her is concerned I will soon but not now as she will not be safe then, I want her to accept me first as who I am"

Adrian: "I highly doubt cause the track on which you are going, you are just pushing her not attracting her"

Me: "I will change myself for her just for her" I promised myself and Adrian about it and I will fulfil it at any cost.

I went to my home after making sure that Evaline has safely reached her home. Entire time I kept on looking at her with admiration thanking moon goddess silently for giving me such a wonderful girl and now even though nobody accept her but I will never leave her till my last breath.

I reached home and I found that my mother Tina was silently sobbing and my mother Mia was consoling her the second they saw me both of them turned and straight to the kitchen, I went behind them and told them to stop at their spots and they did cause they knew not to betray the alpha when asking something. I took their hands and went to my office cause it's the only place which is sound proof and sat them comfortably on the couch.

Me: "What happened"

Mia: "it's the problem of---" Tina cut her

Tina: "Nothing dear everything is alright" and Mia was glaring her then I knew that she was lying to me so I tried a different tactic which always work on her.

Me: "I know Tina that I am not your child, its OK that you don't want to tell me anything" and tried to got up ,Tina's face snapped towards me and caught my hand before I tried to leave.

Tina: "it's not like that Son "

Me: "You call me son and you lie to me"

Tina: "it's just that I don't want any kind of trouble rise because of me as I am no one other than just an omega in this pack"

Me: "Who told you that? Who fucking told you that?" I roared as a result my both mother tried to calm me down

Tina: "that is why I was not telling you cause I knew you would lose your temper"

Me: "Tina first of all you are not just an Omega, you are my mother. Secondly you are the head of kitchen and taking care of kids that is one hell of a job so who said that you are nothing. Tell me who said this ridiculous thing to you" Tina was silent so I looked at my Mother Mia "Mia, anything"

Mia: "it was Beatrice and her brother. By mistake a dish slipped from Tina's hand and then she started yelling at her in front of her friends and other pack members and Justin pushed her with force out of the kitchen that she fell down and got hurt on her left leg"

I bend down and looked at Tina's left leg and there it was a wound which now turned purplish blue in color that was it I immediately stood up and went towards the door but before opening it I asked

Me: "Where was dad when this happened?"

Mia: "he just stood there" she stuttered and bend her head in shame.
