Chapter 19

Xander POV

God yesterday was a difficult day being under one roof separated by one wall only and I didn't even looked at her for whole day but that was it so in evening at last I came out of my office just to see her and I saw her looking as beautiful as ever with few hair here and there but still she managed to look cute. After yesterdays punishment for me I told my technician to put a camera in her office but in secret so that no one can find it cause I want to see her every fucking time. Today when I was getting ready for the office Caleb told me that he will go with me as his car is in the garage so I agreed to take him whole ride he kept on asking about her, I mean how is she? How is she at work? Etc to which I said I don,t know and he was giving me are you serious look. We reached the office and the moment I entered the office I was greeted with a sight which was not at all acceptable to me, she was surrounded by men of my office but the worst thing was a hand on her back and that hand belong to the person whom I hate the most Beatrice's brother Justin. His hand was moving from her shoulder to her back and she didn't even protest about it that was my breaking point so I walked towards them and shouted

Me: "Whats going on here? Don't you all have work?" at my voice I saw her wincing as if she was terrified or you can say horrified cause I used my Alpha tone here that means my wolf was in control.

" Justin what are you doing here when you don't work here so what is the point coming in here and interrupting my work"

Justin: "Hey I just came to meet you but you were not there instead I got to meet this beautiful curvy lady here but now I think I should go, so bye dude." After that I turned towards her and after the description Justin just gave I was out of my mind "Mr Winters you are not invited here to chat but to work, I think I need to contact Admond regarding your behaviour. Do you behave in the same way you are behaving right now ,talking around, spending time with men in the office? And what is this dress you are wearing? You should wear something which suits you and nothing like this." And with that I went in to my office. I was so angry that I didn't even realise what I said and when I did it was too late cause the moment I sat on my chair she entered her office and she was stiff but when she moved towards her table she tripped which made me stand up from my chair to go to her but I realised that I can't not after what I have done.

Caleb: "Why have you stopped yourself now? You should have stopped yourself before but no you didn't, you just have to hurt her even though she doesn't know what she has done wrong cause she didn't do anything wrong. Lexi told that she insisted her to meet those people cause she was not able to meet them yesterday as they were having a day off but without knowing anything you just blasted. I have known you from childhood you don't do such things then why ,you yourself teach others about having patience but now were is yours?"

Whole time Caleb was yelling at me I was staring at the monitor in which I saw her crying this whole time and my heart was breaking piece by piece as her tears were falling one by one cause I was the reason for it, I hurt her, but one thing was clear that the dress which I criticised was one hell of a dress cause it suited her, she was looking gorgeous, in that dress her each and every curve was defined properly and showed her personality perfectly so I kept on admiring her through out the day

Evy POV

I was talking to the men whom I didn't meet yesterday cause Lexi insisted me to so that time can be saved and there was this man Justin who met me in the hall way he introduced me to these people even when Lexi said that she will do it but one glare from him made her quite. In this whole introduction his hand was on my back and kept on moving his hand up and down but I didn't say cause when he can shut Lexi in one glare then he must be having a high post in the office so tried to ignore it cause I don't want to create a scene here in front of everyone other wise I would have given him his hand in another one.

Suddenly a roaring voice was heard which belonged to Mr. Summers which I have never heard till now and it made me terrified, for the first time I was afraid of someone apart from my family. He send every one to their work but before that he asked Justin for what he was doing here in a very harsh tone which told me that he don't like him at all and also informed me that he is not working here than he looked towards him for first few seconds I thought I saw some emotion which was admiring me but it was instantly shattered by his words not by his tone. He said "Mr Winters you are not invited here to chat but to work, I think I need to contact Admond regarding your behaviour. Do you behave in the same way you are behaving right now ,talking around, spending time with men in the office? And what is this dress you are wearing? You should wear something which suits you and nothing like this." And this made me go back to my shell from which I thought I will be out for some time but he was right that I should wear those dresses which are made for me and not these. I thought that Mr. Summers will like this dress but I was wrong and what was I expecting. He straight went to his office than Lexi came towards me and started apologising to me to which I said "it's OK Lexi. I'll head towards my work now" and with that I went to my office. I pushed myself from the door towards my desk but my feet gave up cause of the emotions which I stored inside me but my desk supported me for my balance, I sat on my chair and started crying and working together cause I don't want him to talk to Admond about my behaviour.

I cried till my tears were dry then I decided if that what he wants a professional behaviour then he will get one. I didn't came out of my office for whole day and kept myself busy too so that whatever happened in morning doesn't hurt me anymore. It was almost time to leave the office so I packed my purse and I was about to leave the office when my phone ringed I picked it up while going towards the elevator.

Me: " Hello"

Cy: "Hi Sis, are you interested to go to KFC for dinner" I don't want my parents to see me like this and I don't want to ruin their evening, so

Me: "No Cy I have some work and I will be late so you all go and enjoy"

Cy: "How was your day Sis? It must be awesome, right?"

Me: "Ya my day was awesome , ya amazing, OK Cy I will talk to you later I'm kind of busy, bye"

I cut the call before I couldcry on the phone and with that I knew where I wanted to go to spend some time.I took the lane to one of my friends shop but it was close so I went to thepark which is on the hill top. I come here when I have something in my mind andwant to clear it cause the breeze and the environment is so calming here thatit makes you forget everything.
