Chapter 32

Xander POV

God what have I done. She left me. I went for her, calling her but she just took off. One of the guard said that he saw her with Caleb so I called him and enquired. I was so angry that I demanded him to bring her back but his statement caught me off guard, he is protecting her from me and I shouldn't force her, which he was right so I just hanged the call went to my cabin and there she was still standing there like a blood sucking creature to suck my happiness which she has already done. Her voice made me disgusted

"I knew you would come back to me. Nobody is enough for you except me and she is just a human, Baby"

Now I was facing the window and she was rubbing herself against my side and playing with my hairs but i didn't care as I was lost in my guilt of losing my mate, my beautiful and innocent mate. I was so frustrated and angry that I shut everything around me as if nothing is around me and I don't know for how long I have been standing here with this slut but the scent brought me back to the reality. She is here, my mate is here, I was able to hear her heartbeat now which was beating faster than normal but she was not panting, I mean she was breathing normally so I turned to find out the reason for her fast heartbeat. She was moving towards me with short steps which were filled with determination as if she wanted answers of her question and claim what is hers.

While she drifted towards me Beatrice stopped her and insulted her and before I could do anything Evaline removed her hand and Beatrice was so shocked cause no one has done anything like that to her and Evaline took advantage her shock mode, she kept her hand around my neck and leaned towards me but she stopped in middle and I was like no, no, no she can't be having second thoughts now, not happening and with that taking matter in my hands I pressed her against my body and kissed her and she was surprised at first but seconds later she kissed back and melted in my arms. My kiss was full of love, anger and desperation. While kissing her I realised that she is human and need oxygen to survive so I reluctantly released her and looked in her eyes to see any sign of regret but I didn't find any and for that I was so happy cause all I saw was sincerity and nothing else with that I took her in my arms where she belongs. We heard our breathing and a slammed door which told me that Beatrice left but I couldn't care right now cause I have my precious right here in my arms and I will deal with her later.

I don't know for how long we have been standing here in each others arms but non of us wants to move and that is clear cause the hold which Evaline was having was clear that she doesn't want to move and her eyes were close. I shifted a little but still she didn't release her hold so I moved her chin up to look at me but she pressed her eyes more so I whispered "why are your eyes close dear?" she sighed and said "I don't want to cause everything will disappear and I don't want it to disappear" this made my heart ache so I demanded her to open her eyes and she did then I took her to the couch and made her sit on my lap at first she was hesitant and said that her weight will break my legs but one thing she didn't know was that the moon goddess made me specially strong for her so I just jerked her and she was on my lap then I looked in to her eyes showing her my true feelings and said "I'm not going anywhere Evaline and any of this is not going to disappear. On top of everything you are not heavy and I am strong enough that I can handle and protect you" with that I pressed her against me and caged her body in my arms to which she responded with a squeak sound which made both of us giggle but soon leaned towards each other to kiss but as you all know we were interrupted by none other than LEXI's sound "OMG, I'm so sorry" I cursed under my breath "Great Timing" but I think Evaline heard it and started laughing which made me and Lexi laugh. Then Lexi said "I saw her running like a mad animal on loose so I thought to check if everything is fine" I just nodded letting her know that everything was Ok but before leaving she gave me a thumbs up and I know why.

When the door closed Evaline turned towards me and asked "Who was she? I mean what was her name?" and while asking she was biting her lips and playing with my tie and that time I just wanted to kiss her so hard and suck his lips until they swell due to my love and then I heard her clearing her throat as to attain my attention so I looked at her and she was feeling uncomfortable again so I took her hands and kept on my heart which was beating so fast and said "she was someone which can't make us feel this, which we feel with you. You are the reason we feel alive and happy and her name is Beatrice but you don't have to worry about her" with that I hugged her and I kept my head in the crook of her neck inhaling her scent which made Adrian and me purr in satisfaction. Satisfaction of having our mate in our lap, in our arms and in our life but one thing made me slap myself as how could I be so stupid as she said "Xander what do you mean by us and we, I mean who is us and we here" I can't answer it right now but soon precious soon so to divert her mind I started kissing her neck and when I reached her sweet spot she moaned which made me instantly hard but I didn't stop cause I want to hear her moan. Then I started kissing her jaw and my hands started roaming her back, touching each and every curve, then again before we could go any further we heard a knock which made is stop. Both of us were panting with our little love session and our eyes were filled with lust and love but Evaline was a little red cause of blush which made me proud cause it is me that made her feel this way. Then again we heard a knock so I told to come in whoever is standing there. Daniel entered the room and when he saw Evaline he just ran in to her arms which made her a little surprised but she instantly gave him a motherly hug and asked him if he is alright to which he blushed which made me laugh and both of them looked at me with playful glare. We spent sometime together and then it was time to go home so I reluctantly let go of Evaline and send Daniel to drop her to which happily replied "yes sir" with a salute.

I was on my way rethinking today's event what if she didn't have come back what would have I done? But she came back to me and I am not letting her go anywhere else. I reached home and when I entered the house My father, Beatrice's father and my mother Mia were sitting in living area and the tension was clear but I was not able to see Tina which made me mad as my father again left her.

God now they our officially together as only they and Caleb and Lexi knows it. I'm so happy for them.
