Third Person POV
Its been few weeks Evy and Xander are both busy in their work but Xander doesn't leave a moment to spend time with Evy while doing work which also makes her happy, he keeps on cracking jokes, teasing her in every sense (if you know what I mean but with touching her) and Evy gets mesmerised by everything cause she can't believe it and a constant fear controls her mind to act accordingly. Meanwhile Caleb and Cynthia keep on banging each other on the road or you can say that Caleb is actually trying to do it on purpose so that he can get close to Cynthia in any way . Soon that day came when Xander asked Evy for the dinner.
Xander POV
"Evaline would you like to come for dinner?" and I could see the shock on her face did she really though that I was bluffing her for taking her well I was not bluffing cause I want to take her.
"well Mr. Sum... I I I .... Meannn... Xander" o god I want to crush her in my arms she is irresistible when she stutters "yes Evy what do you want to say?" she was silent and looking at me and her expressions were telling me that she is having a battle in her mind for taking decisions so to make it easier for her I said "you can call your friends too" with that she smiled and said yes and here I am waiting for her at a restaurant with Caleb. After every five minutes my eyes would travel towards the door waiting for her sight.
Evy POV
The moment he asked me for dinner and said that I can call my friends I called felicity but she was not responding so I called Brian "Brian you got to help me" "what happened? Are you alright?" "yes I'm, actually the thing is...."
"Evy tell me fast I'm very busy today"
"Oh, then I'll not disturb you continue with your work."
"are you sure. I mean I can help if you want"
"its ok Brian nothing to worry I was going on dinner. But it's ok I'll call Dean"
"I am really sorry Evy but today my work has caught me"
"no worries, just be safe and good luck" and hanged the call when Brian says that he is busy that means he is resolving a very serious case and I don't want to disturb him so next I called Dean
While ringing him all our childhood memories came rushing to me, running together in the park, always having each others back in a problem "Hello, beautiful. How are you?"
"Dean, I'm fine. How are you? Its been long time" I shouted in excitement.
"God, Evy slow down are you trying to burst my ears or what?" he said playfully and we laughed together. "Well you know I recently shifted to the outskirts of the city and I have opened a big rescue point for the dogs here" "o great, how are they?"
"well, they are fine. You tell me What's up? Hmm" "well Dean, can you come with me on dinner today?" I asked hopefully. There was a pause then he said " I would love to but Evy today it's not possible for me at any cost" and now I was so afraid cause none of my friends were coming as felicity was with her husband on date so my parents won't allow me at all.
"sis?" Cynthia entered my room and I was sitting on the bed crying while thinking that I won't be able to go now cause I wanted to go there at any cost cause he called me. "Sis, what is the matter? Why are you crying?" I looked at her with my blurry eyes and thought should I tell her or not but the concerned eyes she was having it melted me so I told her and she was first angry at me for not telling her everything then she called Shawn and I was beyond terrified cause I don't know how he will react when he will come to know about everything but Cy winked at me in a mischievous way.
