As usual Mr. Admond entered his office on time and as a good secretary I made a cup of hot coffee with caramel according to his liking and knocked the door before entering his domain. A sound came from other side of the door giving me permission for entering. I went to his table and wished him "Good Morning Admond" to which he replied with an amazing smile "Good Morning Beautiful" and I blushed after hearing it making my cheeks go red. He was very excited today and I noticed it in his behavior so I directly asked him before leaving his office "Admond is there any good news which you are not sharing with me." Admond smile disappeared as he realized he has not told me about the thing which made him happy so he said "Today I am going to attend the party in which renowned business personalities are allowed and one of my childhood friend is also coming to attend it, that's why I'm very happy as I'll see him after a long time" then he paused which made me curious about something then he said something which I never expected from him" Evy you would be coming with me in that party to promote our business". I was like star struck cause I have never went to any business party so I just nodded cause I was not able to form words in my mouth and came out of his office and did a happy dance in my mind for it before commencing my daily work.
As the lunch time started I spilled the beans in front of my friends and suddenly something knocked me down and brought me back to my senses. One thing which always makes me uncomfortable my figure so I planned to tell Admond that I will not be going with him even after my friends fought with me for not letting this opportunity go but it was too late I have already made up my mind. By the time I finished my work for the day it was already 6 pm so I went to his office to tell him about my decision. The moment I stepped in his office he watched me till I reached his desk without blinking as if he was assessing my moves and in reality he was because the moment I said "Admond I don't" he cut me off by saying "I gave you an order not a choice. I will pick you up around 9 pm" in a flat tone because he knew that I will be denying his offer.
So I went home and told my Mummy about it and as usual she started her lectures about me becoming slim and wearing beautiful dresses which caused an ache in my heart which lead me to crying, but my mummy loves me the most even though she is angry she hopes and finds the best for me and she did find a beautiful dress of hers. I was like speechless cause it was beautiful yellow saree with light brown flowers on it simple yet elegant, now the main problem was getting ready so without wasting any more time I got ready on time. I was wearing my sandals when there was a knock on the door my father attended the door as I reached my bedroom door. Mr. Admond and my father were talking when I reached downstairs, the moment I came near Admond he looked at me from head to toe and gave me a big smile giving me an assurance that I was looking nice but the words from his mouth left me blushing, he said "you are looking beautiful and sweet Evy" to which I replied "you are also not looking bad" for which he just smirked.

The moment we left the house my papa threaten Admond for not taking me back home on time for which he was shocked cause no one has threatened him like that and I was literally keeping my hands on my mouth for stopping myself from laughing after seeing his reaction and face expression.
The ride to the party was silent but filled with soft music and I loved the music collection of Admond.
We reached our destination Admond gave me his hand for support as a gentleman to which I responded promptly by taking his hand, the moment my eyes landed on the ladies standing there I tighten my grip around his hand which he understood that I was nervous so he turned towards me and said" Evy don't think about anything you are looking gorgeous and amazing, so just be happy" I looked in his eyes and saw the sincerity in it which made my heart calm down a little. We went inside the building and I was so wonder struck cause it was so beautiful and elegant that I loved each and everything about it except the glaring stares which I was getting from ladies cause I was standing with the eligible bachelor of the city and I was nothing a man wants but I repeated Admond's words and ignored them. The party was going fantastic but now I was getting bored and irritated so I excused myself and went to one of the balcony looking at the trees like they will come to life any moment but something caught my attention which drained the colour from my face instantly.
