The summer days

I never imagined my summer would be this fun. Zoe made it all change. We lived summer like no other and experienced new things together. She's the only friend I got close to this much in my whole life. We kind of have our special bond. She's like my sister and considering her mother died at an early age this makes my mother closer to her.

You catch up with a lot of people in your life, some of them may be a waste of time and you would learn to let go or you may find someone were you both never give up on each other. Considering me and Zoe we both can't go through a fight for a whole five minutes. At the end, she's my other half.

I remember the day when we had our first adventure; it was in our country's forests. We had so much fun roaming the villages and having dinner at one of their shops plus going into their festivals. We spent most of the week days at each other's houses.

We did a lot of pranks that summer. We had ourselves going through dangerous zones with a boy that had broken her heart. I took revenge really bad from that guy, but we laughed so much at how much he was afraid when we threatened him. We were always playful though we never intended to hurt him.

Swimming pools and beaches were the most fun. We got ourselves tanned in the most horrible way you could imagine. I still have the marks on my body from that day. The funniest moment was when she drowned and I tried to save her when I was drowning myself too.

Zoe played a huge role in changing my life for the better. She's always by my side at all good and the bad times. Rule one in our friendship was no boy could ever get between us, we would kick him out for the sake of the two of us. Actually we take our revenge then we kick him out.

Before I make my life choices I ask her. She's like a protector to me and I will never take anyone else beside her. Matching souls are hard to find, and after all these years I have found mine.
