Kacey's POV

It's nearing 8 o'clock and we've all gotten settled into our rooms. Although we put our stuff in separate rooms, we're still not completely sure if we're just going to end up sleeping together or not.

I've gotten used to sharing my bed with them all these years. It's to the point where I can't sleep unless I hear Spencer snoring beside me.

I walked out of my bedroom and- woah! Speak of the devil.

"Must it always be you that I bump into?" Spencer asked as he exited his room that he shared with Sara.

I rolled my eyes. "Stop acting like you're not obsessed with me."

"Don't make me laugh," he said with a straight face.

We're so nice to each other.

"So we're walking to the theater room together?" he asked, confusing me.

"Is Sara already there?"

"Apparently I was taking too long so she just went with Jack."

Hm. I guess she doesn't have a lot of patience for him these days. I'm usually okay with how long he takes because I take just as long.

We made our way through the house to get to the theater. To our surprise, everybody was waiting for us.

Everyone except for Tyler and Sara were in one big group. Those two decided to have fun amongst themselves in the corner.

Weird.

I guess they're the unlikely friendship that everyone's going to end up rooting for...

I've never seem them so giggly, though...

"Bitch, excuse me?"

I quickly turned around at the excited voice behind me.

Jay, Shanaya, and James are here! Oh my goodness!

"I didn't know you guys would be here!" He stood on his tiptoes to wrap his arms around me and Spencer.

Wait, I remember! Tyler mentioned to me that James was an ally, so I'm sure that they're here for the same reasons we are.

"I can't wait to see Tyler's pissed off face when he spots me."

I'm assuming James didn't make it clear that he'd be coming.

The three of them began to mingle with the rest of my friends, leaving me with Spencer once again. I almost forgot he was standing beside me because he's so quiet.

"Hey," he muttered, giving my shoulder a little nudge. "look at them."

He subtly pointed to our mates.

"Don't they look a little too friendly to you?"

I'm glad he said something. But maybe it's just our paranoia.

"A little... but they could be having a nice conversation."

Spencer shook his head, his eyes still on them.

"They haven't even noticed our arrival. Isn't that a little fucked up?"

My heart felt slightly heavy over his concern for them. I don't know why. He's just being jealous over his mate! That's what naturally happens, right?

So what is this feeling that I'm having?

"Don't worry about them. They know who their mates are."

I had little faith in my words. Werewolf jealousy is strong.

In his case, I mean!

I took the initiative in walking towards our mates, him following.

Sara's eyes widened as she was the first one to notice us.

"Hey!" she exclaimed to me, not her mate. Tyler gave me a small smile. Guess he's real happy to see me as well. "Finally! Let's go sit."

Sara took a bitter-looking Spencer's hand to the other chairs.

Jay took it upon himself to sit on the other side of Spencer, leaning his head on his shoulder. So, Sara took the seat beside Tyler.

Strange. Wouldn't she want the seat on the other side of her man since one was taken?

It appeared as though Spencer and I were the only ones who caught it.

He looked me in the eyes as if he were mentally asking me what the hell was going on.

I had no clue.

Since Kyle sat on the other side of my mate, I just sat between Spencer and Jack.

Jack lightly nudged my shoulder, leaning in. "What's going on?" he whispered softly. Surely he's feeling the tension.

I shrugged my shoulders, suddenly feeling something on my other arm.

I turned around and saw Spencer's arm laying next to mine on our thick armrest.

He felt my eyes on him and I could see a small grin form on his face.

"You know I like my left arm resting," he argued before I could even speak.

"I refuse to move," I argued back silently, making him chuckle.

"You don't have to."

A shiver ran through my body at his words. He seems happier than he was a second ago for some reason.

Oddly enough, so do I...
