We sit in absolute silence as they start to doze off. I rest my head on his chest, listening to his steady heartbeat.
I never thought it would be him. Everything seemed so planned out already. But I'm glad the moon goddess made this mistake.

After three emo songs that I begged Sara not to play, we finally made it to school.
Ah, Hathons High.
We've definitely had some experiences at this school. I can't say that they've all been good, but they've been experiences nonetheless.
Spencer parked the car and we all got- ow!
Some dude just opened his car door hard as fuck into my hip!
"Fuck," I muttered in pain as the guy just walked away.
Seriously?
He is fucking lucky that the cafeteria smells good as hell right now or else he would've gotten his ass kicked.
My friends, who didn't notice, also kept walking. Spencer, however, turned around and came back.
"What happened?" he asked.
"That fucking asshole just beat the shit out of me with his car!"
Spencer pointed to the dude. "The guy up there? What the hell? You want me to exact revenge?"
I shook my head with frustration, feeling my hip get better.
"I just want to know who he is so I can sneak attack him later."
"That's Alpha Tyler. People said he was a dick, but this is the first time I've seen evidence of that."
Alpha Tyler hit me with his car door? He doesn't seem careful enough of others to run a pack of his own. Even Alpha James, the most ruthless pack leader out there, is sensitive to innocent people. Considering they're allies, I figured Alpha Tyler might be able to learn a thing or two from him.
"Whatever. Are Sara and Jack waiting at our spot?"
"Yeah, I told them I'd catch up."
I'm surprised Spencer was the one who came to check on me. Usually that'd be more of Sara and Jack's thing. Maybe he had time to be nice to me today.
But what was that smell earlier?
My wolf giggled in my head.
"Since I'm in a good mood, I'll let your idiocy slide for now!"
Rolling my eyes at her comment, I started walking with Spencer.
"Shit! Look who got to them before we could," he said.
Confused, I squinted my eyes to get a better look and... oh goddess...
Talking to our friends was Susan.
Susan likes to think she's the HBIC, but her ego has just been lying to her for years.
My friends and I have been friends since elementary school. When we entered high school, I met a girl in my English class and we ended up getting closer than these guys liked.
