One Big Step

"I think we better head back." Jackson spoke. "Yeah we've been gone for a while." I replied. "But did you enjoy it?" Jackson asked. "I loved every second of the gardens both of them were beautiful." I told. Me and Jackson were slowly swinging on the swing I hopped off and Jackson did too. "Okay genius take me back to my party." I giggled. Jackson smirked and picked me up as he ran all the way back.

I was laughing and giggling. "Put me down!" I laughed. "Let me go!" I giggled. But Jackson didn't put me down and that's exactly what I wanted. I stared at his beautiful face and once again our eyes met, his ocean blue eyes met with my brown ones. "Drooling are we?" Jackson teased. "What! No! No I'm not! I-!" Jackson laughed and interrupted. "Was just taking in my handsome face while you can?" I didn't even think before saying. "Yes! No! Yes! Nooo!! See what you've done you confused me!" Jackson laughed and put me down. "Well we are one block away from your party I'll put you down because we don't want anyone getting the wrong idea."

I longed for him to still carry me but the good times have to end. "Oh yup!" I agreed. As we walked into the party I realised that it had died down a bit some people had left and I was thankful for that. Mum ran up to me and asked. "Where have you been?! I got worried for a moment! Oh my goodness and look at your dress!" I looked down at my dress to see there were a few holes. Must've been from the swing I thought. I watched Jackson walk away from the corner of my eye. "Go into the kitchen and there's a room on the left unlock it with this key and change inside it there's a dress in there!" Mum ordered.

I took the keys and walked into the kitchen. Once I found the door I unlocked it, walked in and locked it again. There was three mirrors in the room and about 5 small spotlights on the ceiling. I saw a black bag and instantly picked it up I looked inside to see a folded red material. I unfolded it to see a long red dress with a bow at the back and roses around the waist. It was truly beautiful. I took my wrecked black sparkly dress off and put on the red dress it fitted perfectly and from the inside it felt like silk. I love this dress already. I looked further in the bag to see a small make-up bag and a hairbrush with a hair tie wrapped around it.

I took my make-up off and let my face be for 30 seconds before putting on make-up again. I curled my eye lashes and put mascara on, I put lip balm on my lips before putting on a light red lipstick, I decided to put on some blusher and eye liner and the last finishing touches were some silver eye shadow and some winged eye liner. I brushed my honey blonde hair and pulled back a few strands of my hair then clipped it with the hair clips that I found at the bottom of the make-up bag. I was now ready and if I do say so myself I look gorgeous apart from one thing my shoes didn't go with my dress black heels with a red dress nope! I looked around hoping to find some sort of shoes but it was a small room.

I looked at the keys and there were two keys one was for the way I came in and there's a second I looked all around the room only to find that the second key wasn't useful. But the middle mirror opens. As I opened it I saw a pair of beautiful shining red heels. Perfect! I stuffed everything in the mirror even the black bag and then closed it. I came out of the room looking perfect. I walked out of the kitchen and my mum saw me. "Darling you look dazzling!" I thanked mum and she spoke. "Oh right one last thing a few sprays of this J'adore perfume." I let mum spray J'adore on my neck and around my dress she didn't spray too much which was good. I hugged mum and thanked her. Mum had remembered she had to go do something so I looked around for Jackson.

Once I found Jackson I walked up to him. "Alyssa! Is that you?! Oh my daze! You look glamorous uh stunning you uh you look irresistible.." I laughed watching Jackson get nervous. "Thank you Jackson." Jackson was scratching his head he was definitely nervous. As we stared at each other the place went darker to a shade of blue and purple and a disco light was reflecting rainbow colours on everyone. Soft music played. Jackson looked down on me. My face turned a light shade of pink. Then he asked me the words the 5 magic words. "Will you dance with me?" I screamed. "Yes! Of course I will!"

Jackson held my hand and led me to the middle of the room before wrapping his arms around my waist and I wrapped mine around his neck. We swayed slowly. I just looked into his shining blue eyes he was happy he really was and so was I. Everybody else started dancing around us and it was perfect we were right in the centre of everyone. And when the music hit a certain note. Jackson lifted my face up with his index finger wrapped one arm around me and with his other hand he caressed my cheek before leaning in to kiss me. It was amazing every second of it. His soft lips onto mine I could feel the electricity running through my entire body. This felt so right. I didn't want the kiss to end. People around us started clapping and cheering and one cheer sound came that I'd notice anywhere it was my best friends cheering louder than anyone else. The kiss ended and I leaned into Jackson looking in the direction of my friends. My face was truly red.

The song ended and Jackson let go of me as I done the same to him. "I-I'm just going to go over there now." I pointed to my friends. "Sure my flower." I blushed as he called me his flower and walked up to my friends who were jumping up and down smiling and all talking to me at once. Lyra cut through everyone talking to say to me. "Alyssa! I can't believe it! You kissed him YOU KISSED HIM! Congrats girl! This calls for a huge celebration!" I laughed and mum rushed towards me. "Oh my sweetie pie I heard you kissed Jackson is it true?!" I nodded. "Oh my gosh! So when's the wedding? How many kids are you having? Are you gonna move in with each other?!" I stopped mum right there. "Woah mum slow down it was one kiss nothing more than that!" Mum hugged me and replied. "Okay baby but I can't help myself I'm so proud of you!"
