Betrayal

The next day I got ready for school. I freshened up and decided I would buy snacks from the canteen for school lunch today. I rod my bike to school and walked inside before all my friends worriedly made their way to me. "Alyssa please I am so sor-." "Alyssa oh my goodness I tried I really did I-." "Turn around and go home now bef-." Everyone was talking to me all at once and that's all I could hear overlapping voices. "Guys! Guys! Stop!" I spoke. "Now what's going on? Why are you all panicking?" I asked.

Before they could answer me question. Anna walked up to me. "Hey Alyssa! I really enjoyed your scene yesterday. Oh! And I especially enjoyed the part where you walked into school and saw that I had leaked footage of you and Jackson." Anna laughed. I felt a terrible backstabbing pain knowing that one of my best friends forever just became my bitchy fake friend.

"Anna what! Why! W-what do you mean? I-I thought we were friends?" I stuttered staring at her in shock. "No we're not we've never been don't you see? You always go around smiling with your other friends while throwing me behind the bus so I decided to give you a taste of your own medicine!" I was taken aback by her words. "This isn't the Anna I know the Anna I know is a sweet, caring and kind girl she was always positive about things what happened?" I asked. "What happened? What happened?! I'll show you what happened!" Anna raised her hand and Alison walked in front of me stopping Anna from slapping me and slapping Alison instead. Before Anna could react Alison stood straight, pulled her by her hair, punched her in the stomach three times before slapping her face and knocking her to the ground. Alison had completely lost it Alison was now kneeling on top of Anna, gripping her by her hair and smashing her head to the ground again and again and again. I had to stop this.

Me and Lyra ran up to Alison and pulled her away revealing a bruised and bloody Anna. I grabbed Alison's hand as Lyra pushed this guy on top of Anna making it look like he beat her up. Lyra threatened. "If you don't take the blame I'll beat you myself with my knuckle dusters." The boy nodded looking at Lyra in fear and Lyra looked at the others too giving them the same threat. The teacher was coming close so Lyra ran after me and Alison. I took Alison to the bathroom to clean her fists. She pushed the toilet door open so hard that the door handle had slammed through the wall revealing a hole in the wall. "Alison calm down!" I shrieked. "She was about to hit you and she hit me you KNOW how I react when someone hits me so don't tell me to calm down!"

"Okay okay well let's help you get cleaned up at least!" I panicked. Alison punched the wall uncontrollably I grabbed her by her stomach and tried to pull her away. She elbowed me in the stomach and it knocked me to the ground, I fell smashing my head against the other wall. Lyra gasped. "Alyssa! Oh my god it was an accident I am so sorry!" Alison panicked and helped me up. I sucked air from between my teeth trying to act like it didn't hurt me. "Oh it was nothing." I blurted out but really I was feeling sick to the stomach and dizzy from smashing my head. Alison held me straight and started massaging my temple. "This should help you gain consciousness again." I let her continue as I stared at one part of the wall and it went from blurry and black dots to clear again.

"Listen that whole time you didn't hear from me and the others was because I knew she was blackmailing you and I tried to stop her with words but she wouldn't listen. Then when I got to school I told Lyra. Lyra was actually in Hawaii with her new boyfriend by the way. Just after I told Lyra you walked in." I nodded and replied. "Thank you for telling me and for saving me now let me help you in return before the teachers barge in here." I took on of Alison's fists and wet a tissue under the tap before gently padding it on her fists that we're starting to bleed more quickly now. Alison didn't whimper or anything I was really surprised by how strong she was. Lyra stood there watching us before asking. "Is there anything I can do to help?" I looked up at Lyra before responding to her. "Uh yeah can you clean her other hand that way it'll get done quicker." Lyra grabbed some tissue and she was on the job in seconds.

Alison's point of view

I can't believe that jealous two faced bitch was about to slap Alyssa. Every time I look at my fists now I can see the hurt and fear in Alyssa's eyes just before Anna was going to hit her. But it makes me smile how I still know who the trustworthy friends are as both of them are right here cleaning my wound. After they cleaned my up I walked straight up to the scene and saw that Anna had an ice pack on her head once she met eye contact with me and I threw a death stare at her she ran off pretending she needed the toilet. I noticed how a boy was getting told off badly and by the looks of it getting suspended. I am a over protective friend but why aren't I getting in trouble? It was as if Lyra could read my mind.

"Oh don't you worry about that I sorted it all out the teachers think the boy did it and all the witnesses "saw" the boy do it too." I hugged Lyra and thanked her so much. Lyra was smaller than me and so was Alyssa so I never usually hug them but I was grateful so I pulled in Alyssa too and we all had a group hug. "Yup! I know I'm just that perfect best friend." Lyra gloated. Alison was still looking pretty upset. "Hey you okay?" I asked. "Oh! Me? Yeah. I'm fine!" Alyssa replied. I know something's wrong with her but I guess I'll find out later when she's willing to tell me.

Alyssa's point of view

Thoughts swirled around my head as I imagined what would've happened if Alison wasn't there to save me. Anna's words replayed in my head like a tape. I am so hurt so so hurt. That's when I saw Jayden he looked angry at me but at the same time concerned. I walked up to him and asked. "Are you okay?" Jayden brushed me off like a piece of dust. "Why so I can snap at you the way you did at me? Are you only asking me this because of all the attention I gave you. And now that you've witnessed pain you want to come crawling back to me so I can shower you with happy thoughts? Well no! Go cry to Jackson I'm not wasting anymore time on you." I turned around and slowly walked away I don't blame Jayden at all after all I've thrown him under the bus too. So I went to class.

The rest of the day was a complete blur I couldn't even focus on my work that's when I saw Jackson outside signalling me to come. "Oh miss I forgot to tell you I have a appointment at 2:45 I need to go bye miss!" I ran out of class and into mums car. Mum greeted me and so did Jackson. "Sooooo what's going on mum? Jackson?" Mum started driving and told Jackson to answer me. "Oh! Right okay! First I just want to say no more hanging out with that Jayden guy because he is really irritating me. Second I wanted to apologise for our last date, after what happened that night I decided that i'd take take you out on a new one but it's a double date me and you and your mum and dad." I was ecstatic that he was taking me out on a date but a double date with mum and dad. He couldn't go anymore further in the wrong direction even if he tried. "Aww thank you my boo!"

So Anna is the blackmailing girl and what's even better we've found out she likes Jayden too on top of that I loved the way Alison kicked her ass there point for her! Aww but I feel sorry for Alyssa as she's trying to remain positive and depression keeps hitting her right in the face!
