Alyssa is just a normal teenage girl. It's her sweet sixteenth in just a week. She's single but her life takes a huge twist after meeting the cute boy at her birthday party. Will she be able to resist him? Or will fate have other plans?
The double date was really fun. Even with my parents. We managed to eat and have a laugh and my parents found out a lot about Jackson and so did I. I took the last forkful of my food and swallowed it. "So if you guys don't mind I've got somewhere to take Alyssa." Jackson spoke. He gave a weird look to my parents which made them immediately agree. "Of course! Yes! Oh! Yup yeah go ahead you lovely couple!" Jackson took my hand and we walked out of the building. "First things first now that your parents aren't around....." Jackson pulled me close and kissed me. He was shaking which made me wonder what is actually going on. "Jackson? Are you okay?" I asked. "Hmm? Yeah! All good!"
Jackson grabbed my hand again and we walked to a place which is really far. Jackson ended up carrying me to our destination. I could immediately tell when we arrived because the view was stunning. There we were standing in the middle of a bridge the sea was under us and it was a gorgeous blue colour, the moon was shining perfectly then Jackson started talking.
"Ahem! Uh ahem!" I giggled at the sight of seeing Jackson clearing his throat. "R-right well I better explain why we're here. Listen Alyssa since the moment I saw you I just knew you were the one I felt a tingle in my stomach whenever I spoke to you. And I took you to a beautiful place as if I'd already known you for 100 years. I could just tell I was in love with you and I know you're in love with me too. I love everything about you...everything! Your laugh, your face, your hair just everything. Especially your smile. It's like the key to my heart in fact you are the key to my heart a-and I'd like to tell you this I know we're young and we're experiencing new things but this moment feels so right." Jackson fell on one knee and held out a little ring box. "Jackson...." Jackson drew a finger to his lips signalling me to be quiet.
"Alyssa you are the most gorgeous, loving, caring, beautiful and funny girl I have ever met you're just perfect in every way. You're that girl every guy would die for. And I love you very very much more than you can ever know. So here I am now on one knee." Jackson opened the ring box revealing a beautiful silver ring in the shape of a heart.

"Asking you to promise me you will love me forever, to promise me you will stay with me forever, to make me happy, to smile with me even through the bad times, to spend time with me and to promise to be my girlfriend till the day we marry and you become my wife."
That whole paragraph made my heart beat so much faster. Jackson was perfect he was amazing he is just an angel sent from heaven. "Yes I promise Jackson I promise oh my god I love you so much!" Jackson slid the heart ring on my finger and the moon shone on it perfectly. I looked at my hand and smiled I jumped into Jackson's arms as he lifted me and we kissed for what seemed like hours but not enough. Tears of joy were rolling down my eyes. "Jackson." I whispered. As he still had me held up in the air. "I love you so much I will keep you in my heart forever, I will continue to be your key, I will make you happy in every possible way, I love you in so many different ways that right now I feel like I am gonna burst and show them all. Jackson you're just an angel, an angel who will never give up on me so I will be that angel in return and never give up on you." Jackson looked so happy, more happy than me it was like we were both having a competition on who can be the happiest I was more happy than I could express and I'm sure Jackson is too. "I love you too Alyssa." Jackson closed his eyes and I brought my face towards him and softly kissed him I swear everything about him is driving me crazy right now.
Some time later...
Me and Jackson walked back home into my house holding hands and the first thing my parents caught sight of was my ring. "Oh my goodness it's more beautiful in real life than in the picture! Congratulations my baby girl and boy! Awwww!! You two are just perfect!" Mum continued on for 5 minutes while admiring my ring. I had to admit I was so happy it was like a teenage engagement to me even though it's not a engagement to get married. Dad cut mum off my pulling me and Jackson close and hugging us so much and so tight. "Well damn never thought I'd see the day where my husband gets emotional." Dad broke the hug before turning to mum and smiling. "Oh shut up." Me and Jackson giggled.
"Well if you don't mind I'm going to steal Jackson for a moment." I nodded and watched mum take Jackson away I have smiled so much today that I swear my jaws are hurting but I don't want to stop. "Dad turned to me and smiled then laughed. "Oh Alyssa I'm so proud of you!" Dad hugged me again. I was about to say calm down it's not like I'm getting married it's only a promise ring but then I realised that we should enjoy the little things in life and I hugged dad back the amount of father and daughter love right now is unexplainable everyone right now is bursting with joy. Jackson just seems to bring all the bad thoughts out of my head.
I sat on my bed admiring my ring. I sat there for a while imagining what my dream engagement might be. It wasn't long before I started writing it down in my diary. I was awake until midnight writing in my diary my eyes were drooping and Jackson was just sleeping so peacefully on the ground. I decided I would sleep next to him after all our love is going to last forever anyway. I pulled the blanket off my bed, laid a few cushions on the ground and slept next to Jackson. I was getting lots of warmth from his body and it was so comfortable.
Hey everybody! I am so sorry I haven't uploaded in a long time but I had exams and now their over but that's not the only thing I do blame myself as I did have free time and I didn't really want to write and I'm sorry about that I will start uploading again. Till next time Xx
