Broken And Shattered

Of course he was protecting me that's what everyone's telling me that their protecting me. I rolled my eyes. My life is messed up. I should've seen it coming Jackson was born into a rich family which means he gets what he wants. I should've known he was only using me. I tried to focus on the positive things that had happened today before going to sleep but I couldn't seem to find any.

"Alyssa! Will you get up I have been trying to wake you for 3 whole minutes!" Mum yelled. I shot up wide awake and checked the time. 6:55am I seriously need to get ready. I quickly found a pair of clothing and threw it on not caring that the top was a little creased. I was wearing a red tank top and jeggins before brushing my hair and plaiting it into a French plat. I rushed to the bathroom and washed my face and brushed my teeth. I grabbed my phone and grabbed my power bank, I charged my phone and carefully placed it in my school bag. It was now 7:20 had ten minutes till I had to leave. So I packed my lunch.

I grabbed the brown grocery bag and packed a salami sandwich, an apple, two cookie dough bites, a water bottle and a small juice box. I grabbed my bag and carefully placed my lunch in there before giving mum and dad a quick kiss on the cheek and leaving for school.

As I walked to school I met up with Jayden. I didn't care that the girl was black mailing me anymore I just wanted to live my life freely. Jayden gave me a piggy back the whole way till we reached school. And for the first time since yesterday Jackson wasn't on my mind. Till now of course. When I entered school I saw a huge banner hung up with a picture of me and Jackson kissing. I then looked around and saw flyers around saying slutty Alyssa moving from one boy to another there was a picture of me and Jackson kissing then another picture of me and Jayden kissing. I was stunned that the mystery girl actually did this.

People around me started staring and laughing at me that's when I heard a crowd chanting slut and pointing at me. I was in so much pain they don't understand! I ran out of school crying and Jayden ran after me. I stopped running when I reached the bus stop. "Alyssa!" Jayden called my name out as he ran after me. "Jayden no." I cried. I was more hurt than ever my life is completely destroyed. Jayden walked up to me he didn't say a word but just hugged me, he gave me a shoulder to cry on.

I cried. So much I let it all out and for once I was truly scared. Scared of what my life was gonna turn into. Jayden whispered reassuring words in my ear and I actually felt better. But once I felt better it all came back to me and hit me harder I cried even more, uncontrollably sobbing. Because now more than ever was when I needed Jayden's love and care. Jayden lifted me up bridal style and walked. "Jayden where are we going?" I asked still crying and sniffing. "Somewhere peaceful." Jayden replied.

Jayden carried me for a long time and I almost fell asleep at how soothing it was to have him carrying me. That's when he stopped and looked down at me he then spoke. "Here we are." Oh no oh god no here of all places. Jayden put me down as I just stared at it having memories flash back at me. "N-No n-n-n-no j-Jayden I c-c-c-can't." In front of me was the garden Jackson took me to on my birthday. I cried even more feeling broken and shattered I fell on my knees hoping for this all to end.

Jayden ran up to me and asked me if I was okay. "Do I look okay?! Do I?! Answer truthfully cause I Goddamn don't feel okay!" I screamed out the words like it was rehearsed. I didn't mean to bark at Jayden like that all he's done is been there for me but I can't handle all this attention because right now there's nothing more that I wanted other than my bed. But that wasn't coming anytime soon. That's when I saw a tall guy walk out of the garden they looked awfully familiar but my eyes were full of tears so my vision started to blur. That's when it all came clear to me the guy standing there staring at me is Jackson.

I looked up in the sky and begged for God to make this end. But it didn't that's when all I could hear was muffled voices screaming and shouting my guess was it was Jackson and Jayden arguing. I tried to stand up but I was feeling dizzy, my head throbbed and my throat hurt I tried to speak but nothing came out I was finding it difficult to stand on my own two feet. And that's when my knees started to shake and I found it so hard to fight against the sleep that was coming to me so I gave in and collapsed to the ground. The last thing my eye caught sight of was Jackson and Jayden looking at me. And the last thing I felt was a pair of muscular arms pick me up.

Beeping and voices was all I could hear but I could barely make out what the people around me were saying. I think I heard crying but I'm not so sure. I felt both my hands being held by two different hands. On my right was a warm hand and on my left was a cold shaky hand. But no matter how hard I tried my eyes just wouldn't open. I tried countless times to open them but they wouldn't open once. And even after that little thinking my brain started to hurt and I fell into a deep sleep.
