Andy brushed down her dress before stepping into the firehouse. If she had known wearing the new dress would cause pollen to stick to it, she never would have wore it. As soon as she stepped in, Carlo Esposito took the bags off her. He kissed her cheek followed by Tony Phillips and then finally Simon Carr.
"If it isn't the bride. When most brides are getting married in a week, they tend to stay relaxed."
"Seeing you guys does relax me. And cooking."
"Well I mean, who doesn't love a good pie," Tony said as he threw an arm around her. "What is this? Suede?"
"Yeah."
"Feels so good. But doesn't it get hot?"
"Surprisingly, no." In the distance, she saw Nathan talking to the Chief. They were laughing so she knew he was no longer upset about the hall. Chief patted him on the shoulder before Nathan turned around.
He broke out into a smile, already making his way to her. He pecked her lips gently before removing Tony's arm. "I can't help it man, she just keeps coming after me. I was just letting her-"
"Hey pumpkin," he whispered down at Andy.
"-down gently."
Andy giggled before leaning up to kiss him. She wrapped her arms around the back of his neck, pulling herself in closer.
"And you guys are already eating each other's faces. I'm just-"
"We're kinda busy here," Nathan said.
"Yes lieutenant!" Tony walked away with a laugh. He made his way to the kitchen and stopped at the door. "If you're here, who is looking after the kids?" The man just smiled before walking over to him. He lowered his head down before gently kissing the top of his head. "Honey-"
"They are with my sister. She took them for the day. I thought that when you get off shift in like an hour, we can go out to breakfast. We haven't done that in a while."
Andy walked into the kitchen and slowly walked past Tony who was kissing his husband. She felt Nathan wrap his arms around her waist, kissing her neck at the same time. She giggled as she walked over to the counter.
"Hey baby?"
"Yes Nathan?"
"You look fucking beautiful. Grey really does suit you." He turned her around, immediately placing his lips on hers. "Beautiful," he whispered.
"Oh my days, why is it whenever I go anywhere, there are couples just kissing the life out of each other?" Jessica said with a huff. She opened the fridge and took out a bottle of water. Andy pecked Nathan's lips before moving to the shopping bags. Once everything was out, she neatly placed them in front of her.
Nathan wrapped his arms around her again, sighing. "I love you, pumpkin. Grey really suits you but I think you look better in pumpkin bits."
"Fuck off, that was one time."
"It was our first date, how can I forget?" he replied with a laugh. He kissed her shoulder as she began cutting the chicken into cubes. "You fell into a load of pumpkin."
"She did?" Jessica said.
"Oh of course. We had only made it down the street from my house. So we had to walk back and she showered. Changed into my clothes-"
"And you guys had sex!" Leonard, Tony's husband said as they both made their way over.
"The hell? No Leonard. Not everything has to end in sex," Andy said with a groan.
